Review Time
I have purchased 3 times from Smartbud. The first time I bought the Smartbud (original) which has worked fine up until recently, it charges to 100% and loses charge within 5 minutes (sometimes less), and I later ordered the holder and replacement tips. Most recently, I ordered the Smartbud Pro a few months ago for my daughter for Christmas. It suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago. We've followed all troubleshooting on the app and tried it on 3 different phones, so we know it isn't the phone that is the issue, it is a fault with the unit itself. I have emailed the 2 different email addresses I have for Smartbud and both have been returned as "Undeliverable". This was not an inexpensive purchase. For it to work for only 2 months is extremely disappointing and there doesn't seem to be any way of actually contacting the company to rectify the issue. I am extremely unhappy, bordering on furious at this point, as is my daughter.

I wanted to buy new pieces for it recently but the product I bought in 2021 is discontinued, so I tried to buy a new one. After receiving the order confirmation and the money being taken from my account, the order was cancelled for no apparent reason and I was promised a refund. The refund never came and after weeks of back-and-forth with customer service, I eventually got my bank involved to chase the company. Once I got my money back (from my bank, not Smartbud), I placed another order. This has been unfulfilled for 3 weeks now and there is no sign of it being completed, so I've disputed the payment with my bank again.
After looking into the company a little bit, I can't find them registered with FCA or Companies House, and I haven't had any response from customer service by email or contacting them on social media channels. I believe they are (bulk) buying products from BeBird - the company that manufactures (and sells) the actual products, and the app for viewing the camera feed - and selling them for a marginal profit.
DO NOT buy from this company, buy from BeBird instead.

Terrible experience. I ordered a replacement Smartbud in July as my original got damaged, I had a great experience the first time so assumed it would be the same this time round. About 2 weeks after my order was placed I got a shipping notification but nothing arrived. I was told by their customer services the products were stuck with customs and was offered a refund or to wait, I chose to wait, I've since emailed every month for updates and up until December I was told the goods are still stuck in customs. In December I asked for a refund which they said has been done but I haven't received my money back. The product is still advertised for sale with 2 days shipping on their website which is pretty shocking.Unfortunately my patience has come back to bite me as I can't do a chargeback over 120 days with my bank. Such a shame as it's a great product. I wouldn't recommend using this company.
Do not use this website! I ordered a product in September 2025, which I have not received. I have contacted their customer service twice, who replied with exactly the same response. I have had no further communication. This is not a trustworthy company to use.
I placed an order October 25. Weeks later on November 9, after hearing nothing, I emailed customer support requesting an update on shipping/ ETA. I received a reply on the 10th stating they needed “my complete shipping address” for “verification purposes”. I provided it on Nov 12 and was told on the 14th that the issue was being “sent up the ladder and should be resolved soon.” Two weeks later I’d still heard nothing. On Nov. 28 I asked if there were any updates. I received a response on the 29th that “the issue has been escalated and should be resolved soon.” Another week went by; on Dec. 5 I wrote to ask if the item would be shipped in time to arrive by Christmas. On the 6th I received the same response, verbatim- “the issue has been escalated and should be resolved soon.” It’s clearly a stock reply.At this point I do think this company is a bit of a scam, given their stated shipping time compared with actual, along with their lack of transparency or meaningful communication around issues on their end. In my opinion the issue with my order, whatever it is, should have been proactively acknowledged by them. I certainly don’t appreciate being brushed off without any meaningful communication, at this point for nearly 2 months. (It’s Dec. 10 as I write this; another week has gone by without any communication.)
I have previously bought Smartbud products and have had a great experience with them. I even bought them for friends and family.Recently, I tried buying the Smartbud Flush product direct. After a week it had not been dispatched. I chased on this then they cancelled my order and they told me they couldn't fulfil the order. Allegedly, they initiated a refund. I ordered another product at a higher price (as the initial discount was no longer available) then found out I could get it from Amazon on prime for cheaper than my original order. So I cancelled the second order and requested a refund. The second refund went through fine but to this date I have not received the refund.I raised a chargeback through my credit card supplier. I told Smartbuds customer service this is what I would be doing and they acknowledged this. The refund was applied by my credit card supplier but today an email came through suggesting that Smartbud has disputed the chargeback.I emailed them with some firm feedback and the absolute cretin on their customer service line suggested that if I offered the review I promised they'd give me a £5 discount. Well here's your review, you absolute idiot. Don't resolve any of the issues you have caused just offer me a £5 discount without any comment on the other matters.Beyond shady business practices and I won't spend a single penny further with this shambolic company.
