Spent £400 with Tackle Tavern and paid extra for next day delivery. Only part of the order arrived.I emailed them several times and it took 3 days to get a reply. When they finally responded, I was told the rest of the order would be delivered the following day. That day came and went — nothing arrived.I emailed again the next morning and received no reply, then emailed again requesting a refund and I’m still waiting for a response.Absolutely shocking customer service and very poor communication, especially for a company happy to take a large payment upfront. This has been a complete waste of time and money.Avoid this company. Do not waste your money with Tackle Tavern.

Order arrived with parts missing, this was a Christmas present for my grandson, emailed them and they said they would send out the missing parts, now I get another email saying send it back which I can't do for another week or so due to work commitments, what a waste of £260, we have to go to another supplier.

Well tackle tavern what can i say very good service with my only two orders so far not 1 problem ive orderd a sonik sk tek sleep system from you guys a while back came perfect no problems and yeaterday i recieved my second order which was the sonik ooti cam brolly sytem with oversheet and storm poles j havnt took it out the bag and set it up yet but im sure everything will be fine iff there are any problems with it ill get in touch but honestly so far im impressed and what else i like is that your webpage stock is correct or atleast it seems that way thank you for my products and i would certainly recommend yiu and use your service again , kind regards and much respect
I have been fishing 45 years and used to work in the fishing tackle industry. This is the worst fishing tackle shop I have ever dealt with and would not recommend. I spent £365 on 27/8/25. My order included a Preston Absolute 36 Feeder chair. I received my order promptly in time for my planned trip. I used the chair once fishing the dam wall at Hollowell reservoir the following day after it arrived at the end of August. Unfortunately the two screw fitting split on its first use and the legs dented. This is where the appalling lack of customer service starts. Whilst placing at order or sales you can speak to a person over the phone to facilitate advice and them taking your money ultimately. However, experience any issues for an online purchase and all you can do is email. Then wait until someone decides to care and respond. I ended up speaking to Preston directly and Tackle Tavern said that Preston would send replacements. This was the beginning of September. I am still waiting for these parts to arrive, making an almost £200 chair unusable after one trip!I was told by Tackle Tavern that Preston would be given my address to send spares directly to me.Having now spoken to Preston 4-5 times they don’t do this and so any spares always go back to the shop first. I would expect Tackle Tavern to have known this fact. Also Preston spares come from Belgium, again a detail they failed to explain in updating me, the customer. Once they have your money they seem completely uninterested and disingenuous. Their customer services who you have to chase by email after email have not kept on top of my issues following purchase, leaving you the customer to chase. I was told last week they still hadn’t received the my spares. However on chasing again with Preston, they informed me that “Pete” had signed for the pallet last Friday. Once again a further email sent to Tackle Tavern to chase and a further two day wait for any answer. An apology and told it would be sent out that day (Wed 24/9/25). Sadly it’s Friday 26/9/25 and still no sign of my parts. I normally use Johnson Ross who are first class, but didn’t have in stock the chair at time of order. In future I will use anybody else and will never shop with Tackle Tavern again.
Unbelievable customer service. Had a fault with a spool that wasn't directly their problem but they responded the same day. Kept me informed about everything as it was happening, and the new item was delivered within 3 days. That's from actually emailing them.Bought quite a bit of tackle off them recently and can't fault them for delivery and customer service. 100% recommended.
Ordered on Wednesday and the item is still not with the courier for next day delivery on Friday. I have emailed but no response and no answer when I call. This was a present for someone and I'm now disappointed. I have ordered before and haven't had any issues. Come on tackle tavern you can do better than this surely.
Royal Mail lost my parcel but they stepped up and corrected it relatively quickly so I received my stuff before my holiday. It was a bit more difficult than needed to be but it wasn’t their fault and they made up for it. Good product on good price and good customer service!
