Review Time
Placed an order on the 22nd December. I received an email from Royal Mail to say they were expecting the item from Tackle Tavern but that's as far as it got. 16 working days later I contacted them and was told the item had been lost and was now out of stock - fair enough, it happens. I was informed they would be back in stock in a few days and I'd then be sent another if I wanted to wait. As this was a limited edition item, I chose to wait, a few extra days wasn't a problem. It's now more than a month after I placed my order and I have had no contact from Tackle Tavern. I've had to chase them yet again to be told they cannot get the item anymore. They've had my money for over a month and I've missed out on a limited edition item because of their absolute absence of communication or effott to try and resolve this. No offer of any compensation either.
Crap product esp low pro mk 2 useless used once leaking from top elastic snapped on one side on cord overall crap made very poor would not even recommend a bivvy peg on them don't buy these brollys they are seriously weak and not sturdy buy a titan or fox.
Having read the reviews here before I placed my order I was weiry dealing with them, but I think a lot of these negative reviews relate to their second hand gear sales and I was purchasing a brand new item, so I went ahead and placed my order.My experience with them is 100% positive, I got updated as my order progressed, I received shipping details and updates, I got emailed if everything was ok with my order and I also got emailed to review my experience shopping with them. My order arrived quickly and was in perfect brand new condition and I was kept informed by them, so I would definitely use them again. I can't comment on how their customer service is if I had a problem, but the same goes for 99% of my other online purchases.
Placed my first order from Tackle Tavern for a JRC fishing chair. (Early morning) Advertised free next day delivery due to order being over £30. Paid additional £4.95 for guaranteed next day delivery.No chair arrived. Message from DHL confirming collection on the 4th Sept and expected delivery on the 6th.Couldn't get any reply from Tackle Tavern main office (e.mail) and shop wouldn't help either. Had to change my planned fishing trip due to no arrival of chair. Don't think I'll be using them again.I've requested a refund of my priority delivery cost - watch this space!!
The first time I have ordered from the Tackle Tavern.I always get nervous with a new seller on the web so I rang and spoke to the team. Really welcoming and helpful, they provided me the reassurance that I needed.The Bivvy and extension arrived, as promised, the next day, there was a short delay on the day with the carrier but the Tackle Tavern reassured me and could look at the tracking from their end. All good, Price, People and Delivery.
Received a carp shelter and one of the poles was broke, tried to contact customer service and they initially responded saying they would help but when I wrote back after that they just started to ignore me and wouldn't replace the broken item.
