Trying to obtain a manual refund for cancelled Elton John tickets has been absolutely disgraceful. 30 days for payments to be processed is laughable after waiting over a month for my claim to be confirmed.Ticketmaster NZ/AU have no phone number to contact anyone so stuck emailing robots in HQ who keep telling me this is a bank problem. I suspect this is their strategy to hold $$$$ for as long as possible.
I had a really nice experience when I contacted Ticketmaster to ask if it was possible to get a refund on my ticket as I became very unwell three days before the concert and as it was a virus I knew I should not attend the show. I reached out to Ticketmaster not expecting much to be honest, but was pleasantly surprised by how well and quickly it was handled with a good result with the promoter agreeing a refund in my circumstances. Thanks again for a great job all around, made my crap week much better!!
I tried to book for Revisor online. The seating plan only showed a block colour for stalls with a tag showing the row with available seats but not the number of individual seats. I spent 40 minutes trying to book. At times the site said the reservation couldn't be completed & at other times the site exited & displayed a confusing series of numbers & letters. I gave up & called. Every minute a recorded voice tried to redirect you which became tiresome. When I finally got through the assistant was passive aggressive. I was upset given my online issues but she wasn't sympathetic when I said I'd had problems. She did explain the issue was probably because I was trying to book a single ticket from a pair. But I couldn't see the seats, I explained. I booked for one show then said I wanted to book for a second. The assistant wanted to complete the transaction. Do I get charged one or two booking fees, I asked. Two, she said, because you didn't say from the start you wanted to book two shows.I complained but as the receipt doesn't show a breakdown of fees its hard to know the costs.
