We were very confused by the whole process. In simple terms we wanted to buy two tickets and have them transferred to my mobile phone digital wallet. I didn't achieve this objective and after seeking assistance from your help desk I received the tickets as an attachment which I then printed for use at the point of entry I have recently accomplished this very task when booking parking at Melbourne airport so despite my age and online incompetence I am able to achieve this sort of task without too much trouble. The problems developed once I had obtained the tickets and wanted them delivered to my phone. Why passwords and usernames are required at this point is not obvious to me. I used the same username and password I had used last year in purchasing tickets for the Boxing Day Test match in Melbourne.Unfortunately the system did not recognise these usernames and password despite me writing them down correctly when using your company to buy the Test match tickets last year. The time allowed for the total transaction became a problem once the system rejected my password and I think the four minute limit should be reviewed. I would recommend looking at the system Melbourne airport use for their parking system as I believe its simplicity is something that could be replicated by Ticketmaster in its ticket purchase system
Vanessa was very understanding about the problem I was experiencing with trying to order tix online. She enabled me to complete the purchase effectively.It may be of help to explain briefly the difficulty which led to me contacting Ticketmaster directly by phone.On Saturday 3 February 2024 I was attempting to make a booking for "& Juliet" at Crown Theatre, Perth for the 7.00pm performance on Thursday 8 February 2024.When I reached the stage of finalising payment an unexpected message appeared at the top of the screen which said Oops! on a red coloured line with an additional comment immediately below which said "Secure Ticket selection is required"Nowhere on the screen was there any indication of an item referring to Secure Ticket selection so it was not possible to indicate any selection.I tried making the booking via Safari and also Google Chrome. The same message occurred. The result was that I was not able to obtain the preferred seating for the show.When I phoned today, Vanessa assisted me in obtaining alternative tix, but it was still disappointing to have to undertake this long-winded process and also not get the original tix which were now no longer available.
I was told to renew my password. I have renewed it already 3 times. My comments were not read. I cannot open your tickets on my phone, which I will need to use when I go to the event. Your system does not recognize my password on my phone but it does recognize it on my laptop but I am not taking my laptop to the event. Your ticket system in ridiculous. youe member of staff has changed my password. Why?.
