Review Time
I was promised replacement tickets on Wednesday 17th January for the Australian Open for Sunday the 21st January and Ticketmaster only confirmed and emailed me the tickets at 10.30 am on Sunday 21st January. This meant that I arrived at the event at 11.30 am which meant that John Cain Arena was already full and we could not get in to watch the match that we wanted to watch,
I had originally booked for ground passes for AO today and then decided to book for Rod Laver instead, I emailed Ticketmaster to get a refund on my original set of tickets and received a reply within 2 hours (on a Saturday too!) and a refund was issued. Thank you so much for being so quick with your reply, I thought I had lost out on money from my first set of tickets.
Absolutely embarrassing customer service. Didn't read my message, simply copied text from the website. This agent needs to be fired. ASAP!*update from Ticketmaster reply*Now they’re trying to get my review taken down (got 3 separate emails), which is understandable, since they have no intention of improving service. Just pathetic. Huge fees to buy tickets, with no added value to the customer. Then bad online customer service?! SMH
I know ticketing agents get a bad rep sometimes for not really responding quickly (or some at all) but can I say that Ticketmaster has surprised me with the support relating to Australian Open tickets where it’s been nothing short of exceptional with ticket assistance so I felt like I had to come here to leave a positive feedback as it’s more likely people take the time to leave one only when we are annoyed. So well done Ticketmaster (particularly Julius who is a legend) for making the AO experience even better.
