Very disappointing experience with Ticketmaster.
I purchased tickets during the presale for the Anima event in Paris La Défense Arena. The website was set to English, but not all information was actually translated. Because of this, the seating map was misleading.
On the map, the standing area (“FOSSE”) appeared greyed out, which made it look like standing tickets were unavailable. Based on this, we assumed there were no standing tickets left and bought the cheapest seated tickets instead.
Later we discovered that “FOSSE” actually means standing area and that standing tickets were in fact available. When I checked the map again during the regular sale, the standing area was clearly displayed. So the issue happened specifically during the presale interface.
I contacted Ticketmaster within minutes after purchasing the tickets to explain that the purchase was a mistake caused by the confusing and partially untranslated interface. I even bought the correct tickets afterwards.
Despite this, Ticketmaster refused to cancel or refund the incorrect tickets and showed zero goodwill.
For a company of this size, this level of customer service is unacceptable. A simple cancellation within minutes should not be an issue when the mistake is clearly caused by a confusing platform.
Honestly, this experience makes me reconsider attending events in France through Ticketmaster. It’s not surprising that other Anima events sold out while the French dates did not.

I have been reaching out and have been simply ignored multiple times, so in hopes that somebody at the Ticketmaster France team sees this, here is my experience! During the special ARMY presale, I had selected to purchase the VIP 4 package and was actively paying for it - the Ticketmaster website declined my payment SEVEN times DESPITE my funds being sufficient, my bank limits allowing the expences and me CONFIRMING MY PAYMENT through my bank. I tried with both - Apple ID and card, and despite adding the package to my cart after tiketmasters every failed attempt to let my payment through, they held me like this for twenty minutes (with reselecting the package and putting in my bank details and confirming through my bank and ticketmaster processing my payment and LAGGING JUST TO NOT PUT THAT PAYMENT THROUGH) and after that just kicked me out of my cart and out of the website in general. I managed to secure a Pelouse ticket out of magic and divine desperation, and now, I have put in four requests to let me upgrade my ticket to a VIP package WHICH I AM WILLING TO PAY FOR IN FULL, because this situation is completely their website's doing, and I have been ignored. After this fiasco, I am desperately sad and wish that I had been or will be heard somehow.
Good luck if you can't understand French. Trying to change the page to English got me kicked off. It was so chaotic, and for the payment, you couldn't even enter the month of the card's expiration. Why cant france just use the regular Ticket master like everyone else? That works great.
What a joke! I bought a simply red ticket yesterday 18.10.25 for today 19.11.25 in Paris. I created a new account, paid (it is debited on my credit card), got confirmation and then very quickly it asked me to get their app. I download the app but when I go back, my purchase disappeared, my account doesnt exist and I haven’t got a single email about my purchase. Talk to ticketmaster? Good luck. I sent a form and no reply,Nothing. I guess I’ll have to ask my credit card to return the money and never more ticketmaster France thank you!
