Purchase was made 2 1/2 weeks prior to event. After 4 calls (nearly 3 hours in total) within 36 hours of event start and one email saying the transfer was canceled, I finally received the tickets 7 minutes before the start of the event. I live 30 minutes away.
I hope I could give zero star. This company is a scam. I purchased two "discounted tickets" from them at $112 each. When I received the electronic tickets from the venue, it has the face value printed as $46 each. I immediately called them to ask for a refund. They told me they would put in a request and get back to me within 72 hours. 72 hours passed and I didn't hear a thing. When I called them again, I was told that they would follow up with a new request and get back in 72 hours. Several phone calls and several days later they rejected my refund. It is a shame my employer lists them as a perk. Avoid at all costs!
We were left on the street in NYC with an overbooking, no advance notice.We arrived at the hotel, got told our reservation was canceled. Customer service told us they would relocate us within 1-3 hours. After more than 4h of waiting (and 1h lost in the waiting line on the phone to reach an agent), still no relocation offered. We were offered to - guess - continue to wait until they will propose us options. It was 9 pm by that time. We booked alternative accommodation at high price by ourselves. Will not use it again! No ethics
I have used TicketsatWork for years but lately their customer service has declined considerably. Last time I purchased 3 tickets for a concert ($600 total), received only 1 ticket and spent more than 24 hours trying to solve the situation with their customer service to no use. Calls after calls, all I got were excuses and a 'no refundable' answer. So frustrating and disappointing. Never again.
First, their support is impossible to reach. Second, prices are in USD, and it wasn't cheaper than other sites. I actually paid more than on another website. Secondly, my mistake for missing the currency, but the site is very inconvenient and gives very few property details, and no way to select your currency. At checkout, I was too frustrated and didn’t notice payment was in USD. They even used a higher conversion rate. I questioned this, but they never replied.Support experience:1. Call → on hold 25+ minutes, no answer.2. Email → reply comes after your trip. I asked about the extra charge, and they just forwarded it to the hotel, who said, “We don’t understand the problem.”3. Finally hear back, send a complaint → instead of a solution, you get a “How did we do?” feedback email. Maybe answer first, THEN ask that.
