We are currently still going through an experiance of house buying and would love to get a specific build that’s not ready yet at the Avenue in wingerworth, Derbyshire,we are in the middle of selling our house,so in no rush,we really hope to get a property on that development if we can’t have the house we hoped for. You get a really nice feel for the area. I felt I needed to write a review because we are just so greatful for everything the ladies have done up there for us already!..Lindsay Watson in particular, cannot Thankyou enough for all the support you have given me and my family and all your knowledge and expertise, your just so professional and alongside being my councillor 😆I’m forever greatful of her! Lindsay and Andrea make a fantastic team!! ..lindsay helped me remain calm especially as I have adhd I can get a bit flappy sometimes and a bit overwhelmed so she’s helped me to just go with it and this crazy house buying process.It’s extremely scary at first but she’s helped it become so relaxing and we got to pick the kitchen the other week and sit with Lindsay and Andrea, who is amazing too and just super helpful and kind and Definatley both know their stuff! 🤩..that was a lovely experiance..I honestly thought I’d never want a new build, my dad who’s a builder has always said don’t do it, but he’s had a look and even he says how well built these properties are with Tilia and the avenue in particular is in a lovely spot with gorgeous views and when he looked around with us,thought the area and how the properties were built are beautiful. That made us feel really good! If he’s happy we are too, but all the help we have had Honestly is just excellent! Lindsay and Andrea aren’t just there to sell houses, they care and that means everything!!!! Lindsay has been there for us so much! And if we need anything I know I can ring and ask her anything.we have mainly been speaking to Lindsay, Andrea we know is there if we need her 🫶..an excellent development and hopefully, fingers crossed..that’s where we will end up! 🤞 amazing experiance so far 🩷
Went home visit my daughter's brand new home, literally brand new.Damp, mould and spores. Quite staggering and distressing for the family, with three children. I keep saying "brand new", as it is quite unbelievable. They have been in the home less than a month!! Brand, spanking new!!!
Was left with a hole in wall & skirting board left off after an initial visit at begging of March after a lot of emails which were ignored by customer service I finally had a visit from maintenance last week.Nick was excellent extremely helpful and professional he patched wall and told me he would be back today. He has done a great job. Very tidy workmanship The 5* review is purely for the visit from Nick to sort the problem
We are 3 weeks on now after a telehandler driven on a live road drove into my parked car and caused £1000 worth of damage. Tilia have committed an offence and refused to give us their insurance details and because the machine was driven on a love road, they are liable for the insurance on the hired tele handler. Tilia have failed to call us back when promised and have fobbed us off each step of the way. The site manager didnt even have the decency to knock on my house and apologise for the damage caused to our vehicle. The whole thing stinks. Their banksman was supposed to be guiding the telehandler but failed to spot our parked car! I have since heard that the banksman had not had adequate training. I am on the Teign View site in Kingsteignton. Please contact me to get this resolved.

Where do I start?I purchased my home in Jan 2025, (I was meant to close Sept - Nov 2024).Over three months on from that and basic snags still haven't been addressed, let alone major issues such as:- No internet line installed to my house (although this was a "matter of priority" over a month ago and we've had to spend over £300 on Starlink)- A hole crated by the plumber from my downstairs WC wall to utility just left wide open- Gutter issues- Missing silicone in shower - Windows and patio not installed correctly, meaning if we use then, they are being damaged.- Fencing not on correct boundary lines. I have raised a significant complaint which HAS NOT been addressed (or even acknowledged) as per Tilia's policy and the consumer code for home builders (5.2.4). I have no further recourse to raise issues outside of customer care, so very sad I have to bring this to Trustpilot in hopes this sparks a reply before I am able to utilise a resolution service. Update to below reply: No one from customer services is touch with me at this time regarding my complaint, and I have not received an acknowledgement.
Originally we were buying a house from a different developer. The sales process was very rigid, and when our buyer pulled out the developer became very cold towards us. Very corporate. It put me off going back when we did sell. It was so refreshing to deal with Isabelle Taylor at Tillia’s Roundhouse Gate development in Cringleford. Throughout Izzy was friendly, supportive and professional. Her communication is excellent! Nothing was ever too much and very reassuring through. Big shout out to Izzy. I was impressed with the standard level of specification, much higher than other local developers. The range of kitchens, and the cost of upgrades great. As with ALL new builds, there will undoubtedly be snags. Tillia encouraged me to visit the property again before completion to note any initial snags. Very open and not trying to hide anything. Tillia have a 21 day home visit whereby you have 21days to note any initial snags (my brother in law bought with Bovis who gave him 72hours!). The site manager visited and nothing was too much. Trades arranged to fill cracks etc within a few weeks. We have been exceptionally impressed with Tillia from Izzy in the sales office, to Charlotte the site manager, Luke the assistant site manager, Caroline the sales processor and Jamie the sales manager. Highly recommend Tillia!
I'm super excited after moving in to our new home. Beautifully done and spacious too. Paige has been very wonderful with an exceptional customer service delivery. Constantly following up and providing updates. The after move in service from Paige has been great. Making sure we have the highest standard as promised by Tilia Homes.
