Review Time
Poor quality all round, serious lack of quality control and over 300 snags on a new build some that have still not been rectified. If you want years of painful liaising and lots of lost time then go ahead. Personally would avoid as life is too short!
I was not sure what to expect having not purchased a new build before & having heard some not so good experiences. But I can definitely recommend Tilia Homes & I would certainly look to buy a new build again based on this experience. I have rated the whole experience & the house as 4 stars due to a couple of issues which could have been avoided. but I would rate the staff I dealt with as 5 stars. In particular, the 2 people that stand out for me at Knights Meadow are Natasha in the Sales Office & Lee the Site Manager. Both have helped me through the whole process from the moment I first visited the site to dealing with snagging issues after moving in. In fact Lee & his team went above & beyond to help me with some issues which they were not obligated to. Natasha has been professional, friendly & patient with me throughout. Both are a credit to the company & I would regard them as friends rather than staff of Tilia Homes now. My home is everything I could have wished for. The size, finish & build feels superior to other new builds I have seen during my property search. I had not heard of Tilia Homes before finding them at Knights Meadow but I would definitely be happy to recommend them & their team to prospective buyers.
