We moved from England to Austria and from the original assessment of the volume to the actual moving of the goods everything worked out perfectly. At first we were quoted a volume that I felt might be on the short side but turned out to be accurate. The final price and the initially quoted price were exactly the same and there were no hidden fees. This price was by far the cheapest I could find and included the free packing of some especially fragile items. One aspect of this service stands out and that is the impeccable customer service. As a complete newcomer to international moving I was lead through the process and assisted at every turn. The minimal requirements I needed to fulfill were explained to me and the progress of the move was conveyed to me via frequent updates via phone or email. The only slight negative I can find, is that there was some minor confusion as to delivery date (1 day), although this was immediately rectified and all goods arrived in excellent condition.
Great experience with TMS and Christian was absolutely fantastic. They stepped in at the last minute and helped us out when we were let down as we moved back to the UK from Switzerland. Christian was so helpful and was alway calm, efficient and professional - we felt that we were in safe hands throughout the process. Top notch service by TMS and especially Christian! We had a fairly large move of over 120 different boxes and pieces of furniture going from London to New York. Everything arrived in one piece with no breaks or damage. Christian was amazing keeping us up to date throughout the preparation and shipping process. I can wholeheartedly recommend James and his team. My shipment was delayed for months due to COVID-related global supply chain issues. James was in contact with me during the entire process, helping me navigate the complex world of customs, importers, dispatchers, etc. When the shipment arrived, it had been on the road so long that many of the boxes were semi-crushed. Yet nothing in the shipment was damaged - even the fragile items. The delivery person said that that was because of good packing by TMS. Thanks for that, James!
Christian's good attitude and kindness are exceeded only by his kindness and good attitude.I reached TMS because a friend of mine used it to move to Spain and was extremely happy and heavily recommended it, after going through the experience I cannot agree with him more.Moving houses is stressful, still Christian, who never stopped treating me as a friend, helped me diminishing my worries, being fully flexible (even to the point of accepting the list of items we were going to move the very morning the movers were coming to our house) and kept us informed, calm and sane when the unexpected happened and the truck was stopped at customs.Dealing with a relocation, a wedding, repairs in our new house, a maddening ex-landlord, and customs surprisingly stopping our truck and delaying the process, I'm positive I would have had a mental breakdown hadn't it been for Christian reassuring me more than anyone else would have that everything would be alright, keeping us informed at all times and going the extra mile to keep us on budget. His advices where fantastic and his treatment was the best I've had in any customer - client interaction in my life, I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Absolutely seamless from start to finish despite so many moving parts!We moved our family (2 adults, 5 kids aged 7 and under) internationally in 2021. Back home to Australia. Our flights were originally for August. We were cancelled 7 days before departure and the team at TMS had to cancel our packers and container and were so gracious and understanding. 2 months of trying to leave and then we were suddenly flying out of England with 10 days notice. Again the team organised our packers and storage so we could leave with peace of mind about our belongings. TMS got our container loaded and shipped off a week or two after we flew out and kept us informed over the weeks our things were in transit. We were then handed over to the local agent in Australia for the final bit but TMS still kept in touch until everything was delivered and unpacked for us. Only one flat pack bookcase was damaged which TMS sorted immediately. I can't recommend them enough. Definitely the safest hands to trust!
Moving home can be so stressful even if it's a short distance. Imagine, if you will, that you are approaching your dotage and decide to move to another country. Foolish? Brave? Either way this is what we decided to do, and so needed the help of a trustworthy, reliable, removal company. We started the process a lifetime ago but in actual fact was 7 months ago, and throughout Christian has been so patient, so friendly, and has always made me feel a valued client. I have lost count of the number of times the date of our move has been changed, but he hasn't ever been anything but supportive. He has provided answers to my endless questions whether by email or phone. I've lost patience with myself, but Christian never has.The collection of our belongings went so smoothly, and our delivery at the other side of the Irish Sea this morning went like clockwork. We've moved several times over the years - twice to Canada and back - so I can make honest comparisons. I can honestly say this has probably been the least stressful, handled by the friendliest team at TMS, and I would recommend them to anyone needing a removal company.
