Smashed and destroyed. Many of our dishes and plates arrived broken, I am horrified. My daughters' pottery and other irreplaceable items in pieces. All glassware and plates where poorly wrapped without bubble wrap. How they have received 5 stars is beyond comprehension, I give them 1.
Scott coordinated my move from Newcastle to Galway showing professionalism and responsiveness to every query. The team who picked up were enthusiastic, good humoured and courteous and a similar experience at drop off. A good value service which I would recommend and use again.
We recently used TMS (and through them Algarve Removals) to take a small van of boxes and furniture from London to near Lisbon. I highly recommend them because they could hardly have been more flexible and adaptable and the price was I felt reasonable. Special praise for Scott at TMS as well as for Marco and the team who delivered in Portugal

Amidst the frustration, and sometimes anger, created during our move from Italy to Britain, it is easy to forget the positive elements of the move, and hopefully this will be a balanced and fair review.It is difficult to separate out Total Moving Solutions from their chosen agent ASD Harrison, and we often felt that they were more or less the same entity. In the end I refused to deal directly with ASD Harrison and only with Christian at TMS.Christian (our contact at TMS) has been professional throughout, offering good advice, and replying quickly to the many questions that I put to him. His estimate of the required volume was higher than other quotes, which meant no nasty surprises later with excess volume charges; and, despite being the highest volume quoted, he also provided the cheapest quote. Combined with the good reviews we had read, his personal manner, and the fact that TMS actually provided a quote (some companies didn’t even respond), we chose to work with them. Even later, when things went wrong, TMS have always been open and approachable, and willing to explain and discuss options.The experience of ASD Harrison couldn’t be more different. We had damage caused to our home during the loading of the pantechnicon, which the staff were reluctant to admit they had caused. When our goods arrived at our new home, a table had had its substantial legs broken off, indicating poor handling and a lack of professionalism and care (this item had been wrapped by ASD Harrison staff). Items were missing but presumed to be in a wardrobe, loaded and locked by their handlers, who had then lost the key (not admitted). At every stage the approach of ASD Harrison has been a refusal to accept responsibility, deny things had taken place, and even try to shift the blame on to ourselves. Insurance claim made and some compensation due, but that doesn’t make up for the angst caused. My advice to TMS – find a new partner.
