DO NOT BUY! Typology is clearly a scam created by a millionaire who wants to make more money, extremely high prices for supposedly clean products with effective active ingredients, but almost nothing is organic, their active ingredients are not stable (Retinol serum without airless pump and/or mild preservatives, even though retinol is known to be VERY unstable, and the lipid-replenishing balm that goes moldy after 2 weeks of use), ridiculously small or half-filled tubes that last less than 2 weeks, in short, this is a brand that invests heavily in marketing and fancy glass bottles but not much about what's inside. .. On top of that, the customer service is appalling: they refuse to give your money back even with photographic evidence of a faulty product like mold. I'm going back to my real French organic brands, which may have less attractive packaging, but at least the quality is there and prices are decent!
I am 42 with maturing skin and fine lines. I've always taken care of my skin but have been looking for something clean, consistent and honestly, incredible. Typology is not like anything I've used. Not only is their packaging beautiful but their benefits are real. My skin is more vibrant, dewy and has gifted me a reflection I'm leaning in to love again. If you are on the fence, go for it! Jump In. I have increased my purchases a few times and plan to keep it up! Starting with their wrinkle line, then increasing to their eye lash serum & mascara (the mascara is not my fave and wouldn't buy it again) to their tinted serum, glow drops, corrective color and lip tint. Absolutely LOVE and I am ready to have their entire line of products. My lines are diminishing and today marks 4 weeks of use on the wrinkle products.
I’m really enjoying Typology’s products. I started with their Firming Night Serum and the A34 Serum for Wrinkles & Firmness, and I really like both. That led me to try the tinted serum and concealer. The tinted serum in Light was a great match for my skin tone. Unfortunately, the Light shade in the concealer was a bit too dark/warm, and since there’s no option to exchange, I ended up repurchasing in Fair, which works much better.The products themselves are a 5/5, I’m only giving 4 stars because the inability to exchange made the shade-matching process more expensive than expected. Otherwise, I’ve been impressed and will continue to purchase!
I love this company and their clean non-toxic products. The skin analysis quiz gave me great recommendations. I have mature skin, fine line wrinkles, and rosacea. I loved ALL of the recommendations that came with my report. The packaging is so beautiful and the products work. Hard to pick a favorite item, but if forced to I would say the 7-Ingredient Cleansing Oil. For the first time I can wash my face and not immediately run to throw on some moisturizer (used to be sooo tight/dry feeling). I have noticed much happier skin since using the whole regimen. I use it on the back side of my hands as well and have noticed smoother, softer, more youthful look. I just placed my third order. A little of the product goes a long way.
I needed to cancel an order right after I ordered something because I realise I made a mistake. I have written them and they said it's too late I need to return the product. I then simply refused accepting the product on DHL's tracking and it was successful, however, the package was wrongly routed on its way back. I asked Typology what they could do in this situation, they said they can send me another product, but without the original package, they cannot refund me. I asked them what if the package is lost? They replied the same thing again although I made it clear that I don't need a new product, this is last week.This week, fortunately the package was delivered back, the customer service contacted me and sent me a link to request a refund, it was the US site, so I asked again, then I realised the link was there the whole time but it was TINY underneath the button of requesting a new product. I clicked on that tiny link to request a refund. I am not sure whether they did it intentionally or not, but they made it unclear that the refund is to be refunded as credit into typology account, so now my money is stuck there. I wrote their customer service again, they told me it is "not possible" to refund me anymore because now the credit is in my typology account.Where is the logic? If the "credit" is in the typology account, it means the money is in the typology account, it is definitely illegal to withhold credit from the customer under EU law, even if I (accidentally) agreed to accept the credit, I should still be able to request it to be transferred into my bank account as cash. I don't really care how good their product is, but such a way of doing business is simply unbelievable. I don't blame the customer service agent, but I think the company isn't ethical at all by the way they deal with the refund of 35 EUR. I cannot even trust them to put good ingredient and sell the products with a reasonable price pointUpdate: I opened a case with paypal and they sent over a fake dhl tracking to show paypal that the product arrived to me on 5.6, this is the worst customer service case I have ever had and it’s a pure fraud. Paypal’s automatic system closed my case so I have to call them to escalate. I am not sure why they want to make a random customer’s life difficult, but at this point it is a fraud case, so I would report it to the EU consumer protection association if I need to in the future.
I'm old enough to have earned skepticism about skin care products, reluctant to believe most of what I read. Still, I decided to try Typology out of curiosity about the skin analysis and specific recommendations. My skin is 73 years old. My goal is to maintain as gracefully as possible. After 3 months of pretty consistent use, I believe not from magic but with steady, regular use combined with other self care like sleep, diet, and a peaceful mind, my skin feels smoother, firmer and redness is quieter. I have been using serums P63 (firming) and A34 (wrinkles/firmness) and C40 (moisturizer and redness relief). Based on my own results and Typology's prompt shipment and polite follow up, I will choose other items in the future.
I'm absolutely smitten with all these products! The lip items, eye creams, and serums have particularly won my heart. What I appreciate most is their gentle nature - they're not harsh. Plus, they're clean and a breeze to apply. A total game-changer in my beauty routine!
recently purchased several products from Typology, including the tinted serum, concealer, mascara, lip oil, and lipstick. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with most of the items, except for the mascara and lipstick.The lipstick is genuinely impressive—hydrating, comfortable, and wears beautifully throughout the day. The mascara is also a standout: light, natural-looking, and easy to apply without clumping.However, the tinted serum was a major letdown. I initially ordered the medium shade, which turned my skin noticeably orange and looked cakey. I tried the light shade next, but that ended up patchy and uneven. I have generally good skin, and I’ve never experienced this kind of reaction before—even with other skincare-makeup hybrids like the IT Cosmetics CC Cream. The concealer had the same issue: patchy application and poor longevity. After just a few hours, my complexion looked uneven and fatigued.Given how Typology markets these products as a fusion of skincare and makeup, I expected better performance and skin compatibility. Sadly, that promise didn’t hold true in my experience. I really wanted to love these, but overall, I’m disappointed.
