I purchased a course on Udemy, and the payment was successfully processed. I even sent all transaction details to their support email and contacted their social media channels. Despite providing proof of payment, I never received access to the course. What’s worse is their complete lack of response. My emails and messages have been ignored, and the problem remains unresolved. I even reached out to my bank for assistance, but Udemy hasn’t taken any steps to fix this issue. This is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating.
I regularly buy courses on Udemy. Overall, I am happy with everything. Except that they could improve the user experience in the player on the website and in the app. I think this company makes enough money to improve the player. Here is what I would like to see improved.Player in the mobile app:- the ability to customize the rewind length. Now the rewind buttons rewind 15 seconds to the left and 15 seconds to the right. I would like to be able to customize the rewind length myself. For me, 15 seconds is too muchPlayer on the website (Google Chrome):- Sometimes the rewind lines do not disappear from the screen and cover part of the screen- Sometimes there is double video playback- When I go to a course, I want the first unwatched video to open, not the first one in the course.
I've complete a few short courses on udemy recently, all of them were easy to flow with decent content that has given me an overview of tech subjects I'm interested in. They aren't the best courses but then that is not down to udemy but the creators. Overall I've not had any issues with the platform. Works well for what I want to do.
Garbage platform that gets worst everyday. new AI feature taking half the page and they force it on users there is no way to hide it. Terrible terrible platform not user friendly with useless features and reminders that will remind you every single day without possibility to turn them off, not a single smart designer / developer works in that company.
At first Udemy gave a very good impression but after a few courses, Udemys bad technology made the courses unwatchable by regular breakdowns and crashes every 1-2 minutes for hours and continuing. Reports did nothing to resolve the matter.Worthless technology, worthless service.
I took a photography course advertised as a master course. There was very little content about taking better pictures. When I requested a refund I was told I watched too much. So their 30 day guarantee is worthless like the course. This is a similar experience from other reviewers.
** I updated this to four stars as they did refund my money** I was excited at first by the course content and thoroughness. Then I found that many course images were missing, leaving me Unable to complete several exercises. On top of this, it seems impossible to contact the course creator, which is the only way to get the images. The Support I got was no help as they advise me to contact the creator. I was unable to do so. So I spent $29.99 For a course that was useless after the first four lessons. I have since found courses on bring your own laptop that are just as thorough, but don’t have the problems that Udemy has.
Way too many issues just getting signed up to register for courses. Customer service can't effectively assist you either, so you have to keep calling back. I don't understand how a company could still with such low ratings exist internationally. Systems obviously rigged. Udemy's a PRIME example of you getting EXACTLY what you DONT pay for.
