I have had an amazing experience with USA. Jacket. The whole experience was above and beyond. What impressed me most was the customer service and the communication regarding my order. After I made my purchase on Dec 3rd I emailed them and spoke with Lisa. I explained my circumstances with the item I ordered. Although they explained they couldn't 100% guarantee that I would receive my order by Christmas, they would do everything possible to make it happen. I received order updates frequently. They put my mind at ease. My order tracking stated a delivery date of Dec 19th. It came today, Dec 17th! This being a Christmas present I haven't actually opened the item but I expect an item no less than the excellent service I have received up to now. I would definitely order again.I'm confident that you will make a 15 year old cancer patient very happy on Christmas morning.Thank you USA Jacket!My grandson was so happy to get his jacket. Again, I cannot thank you enough!
I wanted to leave a fair and honest review based on my experience which originated with an order for the Christmas Chronicles Jacket, Vest, Trousers, Belt ensemble on Nov. 15, 2022.(order#146595). Using their supplied size charts I determined my jacket and vest size to be 3x, and my trousers size to be 38. USA Jacket communication was good in that they sent me regular updates. 3 weeks later, upon receiving the order, the Jacket, Vest, and belt fit fine, but the trousers were much too small. The trousers were marked as “size 36”. I measured them and they were actually 34”. I contacted USA Leather within their required time period for returns/exchanges (you need to check this out because it is a very short time period) and Lisa Amber contacted me back quickly, explaining the options. The option I chose was to keep the trousers, and pay USA Jacket an additional $60.00 to have another set of trousers sent to me. I was not originally aware of this exchange fee, but, I am not going to quibble since I realize how costly shipping was and I know these items were coming from overseas. My fault for not seeing this in the companies website. I also took this opportunity to order an additional product, the Christmas Chronicals Hat for $47.00. This order was on Dec.1, 2022 (order#148490). I was out for medical reasons for almost 3 weeks at this point so my items arrived to my home well past the return window if I had any issues, but I put my faith in the company since i had given them my exact measurements, and hoped for the best. Upon finally returning to home, I was delighted that the trousers fit me fine, but, the Christmas Chronicles Santa Hat was much too small! This was shocking since I know my hat size and ordered 2 sizes larger (as I did with the coat and vest), but, it was much too small. I went back to the order and checked to see if I had ordered the correct size, and yes, i had ordered a 2x which is supposed to be 64cm. I was definitely not, since my actual head circumference measures 62cm, and this would not go on my head! It should have been somewhat loose, which is my preference. Being that the return window had long expired, and even if it hadn’t I would not be willing to pay another $60.00 exchange fee for a $47.00 hat. And besides that, I was at my frustration point for trusting USA Jacket’s sizing charts. I order a lot of clothing online (I work in a school theater) and I am well aware of the fact that clothing from overseas seems to use a different sizing scale, mainly due to the fact that here in the USA we do “vanity sizing” so a size 38 trousers is actually made to fit a size 42 waist. So when i order clothing online I trust the merchant to do the conversions for me and I always rely on the merchants sizing charts, and even then, I will often order a size larger. In these two orders, USA Jackets sizing charts for their vest and Jacket were fine, but their trousers and hat sizing chart was definitely off. And, the original trousers and the hat they sent me, did not even match the companies indicated specifications. I don’t know if this was a mistake by the tailor, or by the companies communication with the tailor, but, at the end of the day, it is USA Jacket that I was dealing with so my expectations were with them. Now, I would like to speak to the quality of the items I received. I read a lot of reviews for the Christmas Chronicles Suit prior to ordering, and I know some of the reviewers were less than satisfied. I actually thought the quality of the Jacket, the vest, and the trousers were quite good. The ensemble cost me a little over $600.00. Was it worth that? I cannot speak to that as it is very subjective I guess, but, I did look around quite a bit before deciding to order from USA jacket, and if the fit would have been spot on as I was promised and as I expected, then I would have been leaving a 5 star review. So, that is to say, I thought the quality of the jacket, vest, and trousers was very good. These items had some weight to them, a nice velour with a padded stitching lining. Beautiful buttons. The fur was not as plush as I had hoped, but was definitely acceptable. Overall these items were very good. The stitching throughout seems solid, the silhouette of the way the fabrics draped worked fines with my body type. I was pleased, other than the sizing issues and USA Jackets customer satisfaction policies. I was not as pleased with the quality of the belt, or the hat. The belt was thin, a bit short, it needed a couple more inches. The hat was the most disappointing of all. It was a beautiful color, the Pom was well made. The weight of the hat was too thin. The double stitching around the fur trim was very noticeable and unattractive. And the hat did not fit! USA Jacket has some attractive looking clothing. I only wish they had accurate sizing, and much better return policies/customer service.
Return/exchange policy is NOT really a return or exchange policy! Even within a 7-day window. Easy Returns is not accurate. It was not easy and it involves you coming out of more money. Even for an exchange. Buyer beware. Needed to make exchange for another size but Gave me 10 bucks refund and 10 bucks credit for a 80 dollar purchase. Better have your sizing perfect if you can which will be difficult with an online retailer.
I stumbled across USA Jacket while searching for new jackets for this upcoming winter. I was surprised at the value of the items and decided to purchase the Goku Drip Puffer Jacket. I’m glad to repost that the package was shipped to me ahead of schedule and the quality of the jacket itself is a solid 5/5. I will definitely be purchasing from here when I need more coats / jackets!
Please read to prevent being scammed and called a liar. UPDATE: This company attempted to extort my response on this platform, called me a liar, questioned my integrity, and is holding the partial refund offer as ransom; they will not honor their word unless I take down my true feeling and give them a 5-star review; this is not a 5-star experience, this is a 0-star experience. I'm not sure if it is the translator app that they are using or if they are just bad at communicating, but the responses are totally unacceptable, rage-inducing, and downright insulting. I will NEVER work with this company again as they do not know how to talk to customers or provide customer service. To respond to the ridiculous line of questioning that they just insulted me with, 1. They are saying that I didn't give them chance to make good before I wrote my review. This is a lie, I had many responses after attempting to contact the company multiple times. Good to know that writing a review of what happened pushed them into action. 2. They asked if it is right to post my true feeling in a review based on the experience I have - welcome to the world of business - you think you can jerk people around and talk to them any ole way and get a positive response? Not happening.3. I should have waited for their response before posting a review... I received 5 reminders to review this company before I even got the merchandise, I waited the appropriate amount of time and after the appropriate amount of interaction with their email responses before I wrote my review. So yes, I feel good about posting the truth about interacting with this deceitful and extorting company. 4. They stated, " If you are an honest person so you should write in your review that I didn't wait for a response from this company and wrote a review. "this is a lie, as I had many responses before chronically my experience. I am truly honest. BUT attempting to force people to give a 5-star review for awful service is not honest at all. 5. Their last request was as follows: "We are just requesting you please remove your review. Because we can not trust you that after refunding the money, you will not remove the review." I don't think there I much left to be said with this insult here. I also do not trust this company, and that started with the bamboozle of USA Jackets not being a company in the US. I do wonder how many of the 5-star reviews were extorted from buyers. I just reviewed all the other trust pilot reviews and apparently, this is not an uncommon tactic for this company. My best advice is to read reviews before working with a company you don't know. This company is deceitful and needs to be put out of business. Original Review 1. This company is not in the USA, which causes unexpected delays in delivery and difficulties with communicating with the company. My fault for making the assumption that USA Jacket would be a company in the United States. Please make sure to read ALL the disclaimers prior to purchasing, not just the headers. The easy return policy within 30 days is not easy as you have to justify to the company's satisfaction why you are not satisfied with the coat, AND you have to start the batteling process to get a return within 7 days of receiving the items, so you do not have 30 days. This company needs to have a no-returns or refund policy as they do not want to process a return. And if they would be honest about that, I would consider that before my purchase. Do not attempt to get help through the web chat as it is not maned, but you will get a response if you email them; it will take a day or so to get a real person response, autoresponse immediately. The coat I ordered is fine, just not what I expected and the return policy is not great - be sure you know what you want because you are not returning this product.
