Review Time
The picture of the quilt I ordered was incredibly beautiful. I had planned to repaint and redo my bedroom because of this gorgeous quilt. It arrived yesterday and is horrible. The pictures of trees are blurred and absolutely nothing like the picture in their ad. The quilting itself is nothing like the picture. I've been scammed $277 and have no way of recouping the money, because it's not damaged. There's no recourse just because I don't like it and won't use it. I'm going to take it to goodwill.
Although the products are beautiful, purchasing from them is a nightmare. The checkout process is difficult with popups that try to make you buy additional items or services, shipping costs are not disclosed up front, one time I could not complete checkout because you have to complete adding a tip before the buttons went live again, the amount charged to my paypal was more than the cost of the order, Shipping took a very long time and tracking was inaccurate or nonexistent. At lease the customer service responded to my emails but they really didn't help much other than asking for patience.
if I could rate it lower I would, I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted my money on this piece of crap!!! I realize their refund policy states 20% differences can be expected and normal but when the 20%"normal" is actually cut off both sides and stretching the middle, that is unacceptable, regardless of "policy". $150.00 for two bedsheets sewn together [and badly at that] is just ridiculous! Iam not going to bother trying to get a refund, knowing that I will be denied, but Dean Melton and his entire organization should be ashamed!!!
Do not order from Vantique. I love the patterns of their quilts and the price is not bad for a quilt. I ordered one and they sent me the wrong quilt. They refused to send me the right one. They said there is always a 20% difference in quilt's from the pictures. Comparing the 2 quilts, there is a 100% difference. So now I have a quilt I don't want. So much for buying American
If you look at the reviews on their website (not these here), the number never changes (1,388). That's just a graphic of a review link. If you scroll down to "Write a Review," you'll see 593 reviews, all five-star and then exactly 50 four-star reviews. Look through the 4-star reviews -- all practically the same wording, hinting that it's AI generated. Again, the number never changes. If you write a review (I did a couple times), it never shows up.I had the same customer service experience as other low reviews here, where the quilt stitching is inferior to the ad photo. They will not refund. They claim the product is within a 20% difference between what I got and the photo. I disagree.
