A very satisfying purchase.

When spending this kind of money online, one always has concerns. At each stage, Varstrom proved to be trustworthy and competent. All questions received a timely response and communicated attentiveness to the customer. The delivery time was well within the promised limits. The package arrived in very good condition and the bicycle was very nicely protected and secure. Assembly required was really the minimum one could expect. The reward for all this concern and effort is a formidable vehicle that satisfies on all the important levels. The comfort is incredible. The power is ample without being brutal. It handles very well. The gear development is close to perfect. Nothing feels or looks "cheap". It must be noted (and this is not a negative comment) that it is a very big bicycle and quite heavy. It is not at all for small riders. Overall, the closest thing to a criticism one could make is on the order of documentation. There is almost nothing instructive in the supplied manual about assembly or maintenance. Only an experienced mechanic should prepare this vehicle for the road. With that in mind, I thoroughly recommend Varstrom and the New Cola Bear (where did they get that name?) 2.0. It is very much worth more than the money.

Poor customer service.

I ordered an ebike conversion kit and it arrived incomplete. I emailed Varstrom about the missing items and the representative was defensive and unhelpful. It frequently took more than a day to respond to and email and took nine days to get them to send the missing items. I had to repeat myself and send pictures multiple times. The whole interaction was just frustrating and unprofessional.

I have a great experience with Varstrom

I have a great experience with Varstrom. I recently bought a motor and battery. I first went on Alibaba to try and get the cheapest as possible, I looked at many different sellers. It turns out that Varstrom apply roughly the same price. But with a massive lot of benefits. You don't have to wait for ages for the shipping as they have stocks in Europe (and America I think?), so I got it delivered in 3 days! A 10 days free return if you change your mind, a 1 + 2 years Warranty, and an excellent great customer support. I changed my mind about some parts, they changed them for free, then they gave me a great technical support when I had any questions. So, about 10 or 20 euros extra for all this customer sevice and Warranty, compared to buying it directly from an unknown seller in China, it's a no-brainer. It's really nice , knowing you won't be let down if any component fails one day, for 3 years...

NO WARRANTY on Varstrom Europe BAFANG middrive kits

I bought two Bafang mid drive kits, with battery, from the Varstrom Europe dealer on AliExpress, in August 2024. One BBS01-350W and a BBS02-750W. Including batteries it cost me 1200 euros.3 months after not so very intensive use, the BBS01 started showing Error 30 on the screen, intermittently. The support person of Varstrom Europe, which did not have any products in his store anymore, told me to check all connections and see if any cable was broke. So I did this several times. At some point, the screen would not turn on and my motor became useless. He still was telling me I needed to check all cables.Finally I replaced the screen and the cable that connects to the screen. Still the screen was black. Then he told me he can SELL me a controller, which was probably broke. I told him the motor was purchased brand new, and he should provide warranty. But he told me, if I buy a new controller, he would provide warranty. Not for the whole kit I purchased previously.I have no way to get any support or warranty for a product I payed a lot of money for. Above all, after 3 months of use, it is broke and it can be thrown away.The practice of Varstrom Europe, is unacceptable.I would recommend nobody to purchase anything from this store. There are reliable other sellers, that can provide ADEQUATE support and live up to the warranty of BAFANG.

I used Varstrom twice now- Best price !!

I used Varstrom twice now, 3 years ago and a week agoThe best way is to chat with them via their web chat. keeping in mind they are on HK time not UK time.I ordered the BSS02b 750w with a 20Ah battery and it arrived 3 days after order ( 27th in the morning , 30th in the afternoon ) on my first order they replace a burned out battery connector and were always very help full
