Just another automated company with zero customer service. UK forms of identification on the website include drivers licence yet with every attempt I was unable to complete which severely hindered my account on a different platform. No response to any email queries. Insane that a company dealing with sensitive data is such a failure to the end user.
I tried to become a verified user for trustpilot. I have no driving licence. I have no passport. I have no official government ID. I am now disabled. All these things would not have been a problem a few years ago, When I was driving all over Europe. Its obvious that this company only does very simple verifications, as they don't want to do any work but want to charge a lot of money for doing nothing I tried to email but they don't accept emails from "gmail.com" I believe this company to be a scam. After reading all the reviews. Not some of them " ALL OF THEM." Thanks to these people I can not become a verified reviewer. TRUSTPILOT PLEASE STOP USING THIS COMPANY. READ THE REVIEWS. THEY ARE NO GOOD, TRUSTPILOT PLEASE USE SOMEONE ELSE OR YOU WILL BE TARRED WITH THE SAME TERRIBLE REPUTATION THAT THIS COMPANY HAS.
Veriff - where poverty is punished.Why is there a lack of understanding that people have health and financial issues and sometimes driver's license will get expired. Ohh...God forbid right? I guess I'm no longer myself when my government issued ID expires. Basically, the poor are punished for everything of no fault of their own. All I want to do is claim some gift cards that I earned with a survey site. But that survey site uses Veriff.... According to them, I can't be verified. This is a major problem. PS: I have plenty of other forms of ID but guess what? They won't accept them. BS...
As a plaintiff in a case against Veriff for keeping my personal Identification I am less than happy. There were to just verify me not create a database with all customer person data in it. Now I get to claw back between 300 and 600 USD. Veriff cannot be trusted with you info.
Interestingly I was getting myself setup as a verified reviewer on Trustpilot and that's where O got to use Veriff. From my experience just two words from user experience perspective "very easy" to use. At the moment, I wont be able to comment on Veriff Customer Service or how securely they maintain the users ID post verification and hence giving three stars.
Standard KYC procedure, with ID biometric motion selfie upload, but third party ToS indicate that they may sell your data, which is not good for this kind of PII. I'd like to know that it was destroyed after use. I might forfeit the small balance in my Uphold to avoid having to use this service.
