I spent a fortune and stupidly also bought a top quality topper! Unfortunately it’s never going to be comfortable as it’s rock hard and the topper is also rock hard. I can see it’s fantastic quality and beautiful. I’m gutted as it cost me £6700. I’m not chancing swapping it for a soft tension because if that’s also too hard it’s totally wasted. My partner is having the mattress and topper. I sadly now need a base and mattress. If I got a soft tension and it’s still too hard then it will be no good for my partner who is over 15 stone. I rang the retailer within a day of ordering saying I believe I should have got a soft but he said he thought it would be ok. I’m only 10 stone but only read about weight and tension info after purchasing. Cannot fault the mattress quality. It’s amazing. Sadly I should have got a far softer feeling mattress. A hugely expensive mistake. I decided to keep it because I was not prepared to risk being left with a soft tension in the same mattress as I can only swap tension and not to a different mattress which maybe no good to myself or my partner. The shop I got it from is great, though I do wish it had been changed when I rang expressing my concern. It’s plain to see Vispring mattresses are excellent quality but sadly I chose one which was totally unsuitable for my weight and needs. I do seriously regret getting the topper. Again great quality but didn’t do what I expected as it’s so hard. It cost £2098. Again my own mistake. I’ve given 5 stars as I can see the products are fabulous quality. With my illness I will be losing more weight so I feel the one I chose wouldn’t even be soft enough in a soft tension. I’m very sad as this was a whole years income for me. I need something like a pillow top as my body is in so much pain! Having spent so much yet wasted my money I still recommend Vispring. I just wish I had chosen one more suitable. I can see the quality and craftsmanship is second to none. Just so very sad I spent so much and now have nothing to sleep on! All I’d say to a potential buyer is do your research and make sure you read up on weight and suitable tensions. Vispring have their own info on what is best for certain weights. Sadly I read this too late.

Headboard Problem

I had a problem with our headboard on our Vispring bed, it kept coming off the brackets. I contacted Vispring and even though the headboard was out of guarantee they sent me new brackets.

Awesome customer service!

Great customer service, and both our VS beds are amazing! Dropped them a query today around an hour ago and somebody from the team got in touch with the answer we needed in no time at all!

Deflated (literally)

I purchased a Vispring mattress some years back after a lot of testing and research. Given Visprings lengthy well-established history and proposed quality as well as is supposed 30-year warranty, it was a no brainer for me. I tried several Vispring mattresses in store and gained all the usual advice about weight supporting in relation to its firmness. After purchasing the mattress, I noticed quite a predominant ravine across the centre which has continuously disrupted mine and my partners sleep as we were pushed / rolled inwards. I also purchased several other Vispring care items like the Quilted Mattress Protector (I am on my third one of these now as the thread breaks down, as well as the wool mattress pad (and on my 3rd one as this sheds considerably) even though the supporting bed slats are abundant and way over the advised amount/spacing.I also followed Visprings guidelines and regularly rotated/flipped the mattress which didn't help. I placed a call to get this inspected given I was unsatisfied, for a technicians (a third party) appointment to inspect the mattress. Unfortunately, the technician just stated the mattress "was within tolerance" and that it would eventually settle given it was new. No real effort was made to understand my description of the issue, and unfortunately felt it was pushed to one side, indicating this was normal and would settle. I've never had a mattress which done this nor would I expect it from a quality supplier. The technician advised that I would just need to accept their inspection output and that would be the final. Therefore, stuck with a very expensive, uncomfortable and what would seem to be faulty mattress.A few years later having given time for settlement etc, one of the tufts had broken so again, a third-party technician was arranged to fix this. I utilised this appointment to re-inspect the faulty ravine as it had only become worse over the years and not settled. Again, the technician indicated the mattress was within the tolerance guidelines Vispring provide and that the ravine was down to sleeping in the middle of the mattress which was not and never the case. I explained to the technician this was present when I purchased the mattress and that I was informed by the previous inspection that it would eventually settle but had become worse. Again, there was not much discussion or advice provided in terms of getting this rectified, however, on this recent occasion I disagreed to the inspection output and he said I could raise this with Vispring direct. This led me here on TrustPilot to check out other reviews and seems like a lot of customers have similar cases (and had not seemed to get anywhere with Vispring direct). This is why I have decided to provide this information to any potential customers who might think about purchasing a Vispring mattress and to beware as its warranty is not all it seems as well as the quality of these expensive mattresses.

Do not make the mistake of buying a ViSpring Herald Superb if you want a soft mattress

We purchased a ViSpring Herald Superb Mattress one year ago. We wanted to purchase the soft mattress, but we were prevented from purchasing it due to our weight (you must weigh under 80kg to purchase a soft mattress and receive the guarantee) (At 6.2 and weighing 82kg, I am not overweight)We should have realised at this point, that Vispring weren’t for us, However the shop manager assured us that if we found the medium mattress too hard, Vispring would change the tension. After 3 months of no sleep, Vispring did change the tension, at a cost to us of £100 for redelivery. The mattress is marginally softer, but by no means the same soft tension as the 7 shops we visited, testing the mattresses before we purchased. One year on, many, many hours lying awake on a rock solid mattress and a bad back every morning, I have decided to write this review to deter anyone who is tempted by Vispring. Steer clear if you want a soft bed. Our old Relyon soft mattress cost us the same amount and provided years of excellent sleep and we wish we had stayed with the reliable Relyon brand.

Edit to my review since Vispring have replied with exactly the same generic reply they sent 2 years ago. I have contacted your customer service via email straight after purchase who were of no help whatsoever. I wrote a review 2 years ago which for some reason no longer seems to be showing. I have been really disappointed with my Vispring Elite mattress. It felt completely different to the one in store, harder and not comfortable at all. Furniture village did honour their agreement of swapping to a different tension so I went from medium to soft. Unfortunately I found little difference, still uncomfortable to sleep on with a terrible smell that I sadly have to say 2 years on is still noticeable. Vispring offered no resolve to this and I found their customer service poor.

Mattress review

This mattress is incredibly comfortable—supportive and soft. The materials feel high-quality, and I’ve been sleeping better since day one. Customer service was also excellent: responsive, helpful, and quick to resolve my questions. Overall, a great product

A cat amongst the pigeons.

I will start this review with a caveat, we have owned three Vispring Devonshire mattresses in our lifetime and all but the last one have been spectacular. We had an issue with our last one and whilst any support was initially denied (settling was within tolerance), Mark from Vispring reached out and quite frankly gave us the best customer service that we have ever received. (He 100% deserves a bonus this year). We are now the proud owners of a new mattress and we now have the tools (regular turning and flipping) to help us keep the mattress in tip top shape for as long as possible. We were not made aware but natural mattresses will always settle and contour to the bodys shape and so moving forward, we can be a bit more careful. I don't need to wax lyrical about the mattresses because chances are if you have owned one or tried one in a furniture store you will know that their product is unbeatable. It's a British brand with a wonderful history and did you know they furnished the suites on the titanic? I sure didn't...Anyway, the mattresses and divans are excellent but in addition to that, the customer service is 100% perfect. What does that mean? It means you can buy a Vispring mattress knowing that you've got a 30 year guarantee which is backed up by the sharpest and most emphatic customer service team in the UK. Yes, they seem expensive but sleep is an investment. We spend a long time (cumulatively) in bed and it's important that we make the right choice when it comes to bedding, beds and mattresses. For the latter, just use Vispring. Thanks again for turning this frown upside down and we will continue to sing Vispring's praises at every opportunity.

Five Stars!

I needed some advice on replacing an old mattress. I think Mark Ashworth, Customer Services Leader, went above and beyond. It’s certainly a vote of Five Stars from me!
