These folks are scam artists. Do not use this subscription service. I thought this would be an incredible experience - I mean who wouldn't want vinyl curated based on your spotify playlist. I signed up January 2021 - it's currenlty March 29, 2021 and I have yet to received anything from Vnyl. After several attempts calling and through some pretty nasty emails / contact on social media, I was finally able to cancel my subscription. BUYER BEWARE!
The company promises record that you will love, but I have consistently received music that does not match up with my taste and seems to just be overstock they are trying to get rid of. they also make it extremely difficult to un-subscribe and have a no-refund policy. I thought I unsubscribed 4 months ago and have not gotten records since but they refuse to refund and continue to charge my card.
Terrible. They won’t answer the phone or return calls/emails but continue to charge you monthly, even when you state very clearly on your multiple voicemail that you want to cancel. We did get our albums, but weren’t impressed. We finally had to go thru the dispute route with our bank. I wish we had researched them beforehand. What a hassle. 😡
I would give this place 0 stars, if I could.They have charged me $14.99 since November 2020 and only sent me 1 record. They stated that it was because my spotify account has to be updated every month in order for them to send a 'curated' record. This was never stated in the subscription plans. So I was out 3 records. I cancelled my subscription, emailed the company, they stated they would put a free credit on my account every month for 3 months. However, once I thought this was resolved and was going to get the 1st record that was owed to me, they charged me $14.99 ONCE AGAIN EVEN THOUGH MY SUBSCRIPTION WAS CANCELLED. So I had to contact them all over again and no one was understanding what was going on. They refuse to refund me the $60 they stole from me. As of right now, they are offering me a store credit. We shall see how that goes but I'm superiorly underwhelmed by this "company". This subscription is F'ing AWFUL.
I cancelled my membership on March 9th. Still have not received the records that I paid for for February. My order had been "processing since 2/15. How hard can it be to just throw a random record in a box and ship? VNYL claims to curate based on your preferences you enter, but they clearly just send whatever they have on hand- and it is always at least a month late when they do ship.
I signed up and did not receive products. I sent an email to see what was going on and they stated it was because I didn't make any selections and that I would need to log on - select - then they would update my cart for the missed shipping. Asked them for a refund instead and was told that was not an option. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM! Go with Endless Spiral instead - Great communication - and records that you want
I was gifted a 3 MONTH subscription mid-November and it took over a month for me to receive my first delivery. The records were terrible, but that's not even the point of this review. I didn't realize that I was required to choose "new vibes" each month in order to receive my next delivery as I had already created my profile, shared my music preferences, and connected my Spotify account. I did start to wonder why I hadn't received the additional 2 deliveries included in my gifted subscription, but quite frankly I wasn't too concerned given the amount of time it took to receive the first. Flash forward to this week when I checked my bank statement and noticed I was charged $39.99 from VNYL... um, weird. I reached out to their customer service department explaining the situation and asking for a refund to then only receive a bullsh*t response saying that I hadn't chosen "my vibes" and that my subscription automatically renewed after 3 months. I received zero communication prior to being charged, no sign of any receipt for the charge, and my account still clearly states "3 Month Trio Gift". The individual I corresponded with gave zero sh*ts and refused to reimburse me for this charge. Clearly they are taking advantage of this system. It is incredibly deceitful and I highly recommend NEVER using this service. And just for the *record*, the records sucked.
