ABYSMAL

ABYSMAL. I was charged without them sending anything to me or receiving notification of shipping. There's no transparency. Subscribers have no control. You have to actually call them to cancel or pause your subscription and customer service runs on Pacific time. Not to mention the only record I received was hot garbage. AVOID! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Ordered over a month ago and still haven't received anything. Canceled my subscription and am just gonna have to eat the loss since trying to get your money back from this company is a complete waste of time.

They Never Sent My Orders...Just Kept my Money

I was a member for two months where they promptly charged me, but never sent any of the records that were curated for me. My account showed the order number of both records, however no one could ever figure out why they were never shipped. Out of the several emails that I sent, I only got a response to one. After several phone calls, I finally got through on the phone only to find out that the warehouse wasn't talking with him either. Apparently, not only is the communication bad with customers, it is even worse between employees because all I ever heard was that "I have not heard back from the warehouse as to why your orders have not shipped." I was also told today that I will not receive a refund for the money that I was charged even though they did not send out any orders. I decided to cancel now, as to keep getting charged and never receiving anything.

From gift to awful experience

I got a 3 month subscription as a gift. They auto-charge with no notification. Was not able to get a refund but got store credit. So I wait forever for them to update their store with something I want. My last order was placed over 2 months ago. They have my money and I don’t have my record. Also most terrible unorganized customer service. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

Unorganized and Terrible Customer Service

I bought the 3-vinyl subscription. My first month, I only received 2 records. I asked where the third was and if they could send the record I was supposed to get. They said no, they could credit me $14 and pick a different record in their store and they’d send it with the next month’s delivery. The next delivery came and the record was not included. I emailed about it. No response. When it didn’t arrive the next month, I called, cancelled my subscription and asked for a refund. Dealing with this company was really frustrating and they seemed unorganized. I was also only refunded the portion of the record not covered by the credit. The credit was because they didn’t fulfill my subscription box. They technically owe me $14. So annoying.

You might get lucky with some good records but customer service and communication is abysmal

At times they can send some good records but there’s times they completely disregard what you mention in your taste options and send awful stuff. Also do not EVER purchase an add on record. I’m waiting over 3 months now after paying an additional 30 dollars for a rivals record I ordered and their customer service team refuses to give me an update except for canned robotic responses like “yes I am a consumer too and understand why waiting (3) months is frustrating however I cannot provide any updates”. They also are like 2 months behind on orders for me, I’ve paid for records for June and July and still haven’t received them. I’m cancelling soon because their customer service is awful, they actually get mad at you if you bring up an issue and they are painfully behind on orders. There was definitely some decent records I got but had to wade through some truly terrible offerings and abysmal customer service that makes it not worth it.

Long waiting times and vinyl was not my vibe at all

First of all, they take forever to ship your vinyl. My first order was placed on July 3rd and didn't even ship until August 14th. I emailed and them and they just consistently blame warehouse issues. Maybe you should give your customers notice then instead of leaving them in the dark for a month? And as for the vinyl they sent me, it wasn't my music taste at all. I said that I like modern indie/synth-pop and lofi music that was lyrically deep. They sent me a 90's throwback alt-rock/punk LP that is self-described as "cheeky and playful." Not knocking the style of music, to each their own but it's like they read my preferences and ran in the opposite direction.
