Absolute scam at best

Absolute scam at best. They are over 3 months behind on shipping the vinyls. They now owe me two orders. Numerous follow up attempts to customer service who just say "we are sorry and will look into this". DO NOT BELIEVE THESE FAKE PAID REVEIWS THIS ENTIRE OPERATION IS A JOKE THAT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

Vinyl damaged, no custom care...

I received a vinyl poorly packaged and the vinyl was damaged. I've been waiting for a decent response for OVER THREE MONTHS now.... Baddest company I've ever experienced.

I subscribed the first week of June…

I subscribed the first week of June when they were having a sale. It's now the last week of July and they still have not sent anything to me. They said the delay was because they were "switching wherehouses" and they won't refund me (only store credit) and stopped responding to my emails.

Awful customer service! Never got my record

I’m honestly livid at this scam of a company. I ordered a record in March (MARCH) as part of their subscription. It was taking a while (over a month) and money was a bit tight so I decided to cancel the sub while the record arrived so I could see if it was actually worth it. I waited for two months and nothing. Finally in May I got a notification saying my order finally shipped. Two months after I ordered it. Okay, fine whatever, Covid, right? Well after a few weeks of the shipment showing no movement I contacted VYNL. Turns out that apparently USPS lost my shipment. Late July. It’s been months. This has happened before, and I wasn’t too angry (yet) because it technically wasn’t their fault. I requested they send it again or give me a refund. They said that it wasn’t their responsibility to send me a replacement because their responsibility ended when they gave the order over to the mail. Seriously?!? “However, as a show of goodwill we will give you store credit of $15 (*not valid on subscriptions*).” they said. So I don’t get what I paid for and I don’t get to use it on reopening my subscription either? To top it off, everything in the store is over $25+, so even those $15 aren’t enough to get me anything without me having to pay the difference (and then pray it actually arrives). Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. I’m not usually one to complain, especially during these rough times, but this is just a scam.

I have (2) outstanding orders with Vynl where they have already received payment (due to their policy of automatically renewing your commitment until you call and cancel.) One order is from March 4th 2021 and the other is from April 4th. Numerous emails to Customer Service with same answer......"I will alert the team to your order and we will get it shipped".

There are better options...

Thought it would be a fun thing to try so I got myself a 3 month subscription in April 2021. Paid and filled out the questionnaire. Didn't hear anything for over a month. Contacted customer service and they apologized saying they were moving warehouses and asked me to be patient. They expedited my order and I got it within a week. The selection of records was...interesting, I guess. Nothing great and it didn't really seem like they read what I like. Whatever, I got two more months to see what they got. May 10th I selected my vibes for my 2nd box. Again, didn't hear anything for a month. In the meantime, I selected my vibes for my 3rd box.. Emailed on June 16th asking about box 2 and customer service emailed me back same day again talking about their warehouses moving around. Said they expedited my order. June 25th, still nothing. Emailed again about boxes 2 and 3 and got pretty much the same response as the last times. July 2nd, still not a damn thing. Canceled my subscription after being tired and over all of it. Will I get my records? Probably not. Will I get my money back? Probably not according to the terms of service. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the quick customer service response times. There are other vinyl subscription options out there that I've used with zero of the hassles from Vnyl. If they got their stuff together I might come back but this was ridiculous.

Worst experience ever

I ordered a gift for my partner and we received a code that doesn't work. We've both tried emailing numerous times and have received emails that they are "looking into it." They will not allow any refunds and have the worst customer "service" I've ever experienced. Do not waste your time or money.

Waste of money and customer service sucks

My daughter was very excited to get this subscription for Christmas...until we constantly had to contact customer service to see where our monthly order was. It takes a month to get a reply, and the empty promises that were made never happened. Save your money and go with a different record subscription!

NOT WORTH IT

I subscribed to VYNL recently as an anniversary gift to my boyfriend. I was really excited to enter his music likes/dislikes and get albums that were tailored to those preferences. I ordered the 3 album package and waited 5+ weeks to receive the package. When I called to ask about the status of my shipment after a month of waiting, the customer service rep was unable to tell me any information regarding where the shipment was or when it would arrive. When I finally got the albums, we listened to each one and THEY WERE NOTHING LIKE THE PREFERENCES I ENTERED. Every album received was disco/tech/dance music when I specifically asked for hip-hop/rap. We were really excited to maybe find an artist we didn't know about but that had great music. NOT THE CASE. Seems like VYNL just throws albums together with little regard to what the customer wants. Disappointed.. would not order again. Better off going to the discount bin and picking music at random. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
