This is the second aftermarket VRSF Charge Pipe I have bought for a BMW N55 motor.Product was shipped fairly promptly and arrived well packaged. Tracking was provided so that I could see when it would arrive.Overall the product is good quality for a relatively low cost - it fits well, and is infinitely better than the OEM/stock plastic one which is prone to failure,
I ordered this product on Nov. 4, 2020, when it wasn’t back ordered, and have yet to receive it. I have gotten 3 different ETAs or product arrival and two messages from FedEx saying shipping information was received, but FedEx never received the product. I reached to customer service and asked for ETAs and never got a straight answer. I also inquired about the compatibility of the product with my car and was told twice that the technical experts would contact me. That has not happened. Customer support has been pretty much useless and it has been almost a month since I ordered an in-stock product.
This company is very frustrating.I ordered from them because the product has a good reputation and the price is excellent. However, at the time I ordered - on October 23rd - the product availability date was 10/30. It has now been nearly a month since the order, and three weeks since the original availability date. On their website, they change the available date each week, apparently.I think VRSF should get a better handle on the supply chain and not lock up orders where people have a reasonable expectation of availability based on their own in-stock dates as displayed on their website.I might add that, contrary to the practice of most merchants, they charged my payment method immediately on 10/23 for the order total, instead of charging at the time of shipping, as is customary where there is a delay in product availability.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. VRSF IS FULL OF BS. Bought an intercooler that was out of stock via affirm (loan). But made the wrong purchase, so I contacted VRSF directly to let them know SAME DAY AFTER I MADE THE PURCHASE. About 1 week later, I get an email saying my order has been shipped. Later that day, I get another email from customer support telling me since it’s been shipped already, I’d have to return the item. Ok... I waited for the item to get here and then returned it with the return label Tiago provided me with. Item returned less than a week back to VRSF. Waited about a week for the refund until I finally contacted their customer support again (I hate doing this because nothing ever gets done). They tell me same BS saying they need to confirm that it’s returned. So at this point, about 2 months have passed and I have 0 items and a full affirm balance of $900. I contact customer support once again (probably the 10th time because you will not hear from them again unless you make a new ticket). Tiago tells me that the item is too old to refund, and I’d need to contact affirm for a refund. Lol ok, I contacted affirm same day, now they tell me I need to contact VRSF because only they can confirm it. As I’m typing this, I still have no refund or items and 3 months have passed. And with how VRSF customer support is, I don’t expect to get a refund until AT LEAST another month.
Been waiting for n55 5" intercooler for a couple of months now.. When I ordered it was suppose to be in stock but shortly after it went to expected to be in stock at this date.. That date has been pushed back several times now. Which tells me they don't build the intercooler in house and are having supply issues which means possible different vendor. Which means the quality more than likely will change.. Anyways they need to get their stuff together, unprofessional. If you have a in stock date, that should be your word. If you unsure when it will be in stock don't put up a in stock date!
