Literally the worst airline ever.Short haul plane foe long haul flight. Staff were rude. Seatbelt sign on most of the flight while staff chilled in their VIP area. No medical assistance offered. Literally avoid at all costs!Supposed to be a TUI flight so bear in mind. Not the first time they've done this
To suddenly have your flight changed from a TUI dreamliner to a Wamos utilitarian flight is to put it lightly, upsetting as I'd never seen a good word about Wamos, and now I know why.Firstly I would like to invite the CEO of both Wamos and Tui to endure a 10 hour flight with NO legroom, a tray you can't even fold down, substandard food (must have been the cheapest selection Service Air could supply) 1 drink, and a sour faced crew, who slept most of the flight.We had paid for extra legroom and were assured at check in we would have this, when your knees are literally rammed against the seat in front we knew we did not.If I again am told I am flying on a Wamos flight, I will be looking for an alternative option, whatever the cost.It completely took the bloom off what had been a lovely holiday.
Flew Melbourne to Manila on Wamos Air EC-NUI A 330 -243 seating layout was shocking very little space between seats couldnt fold out tray table ended up dropping my tray. On my return aircraft EC-NCK was so much different plenty of space .Less comfort on Wamos than PAL
I have flew from Madrid to Panama with them, I have never saw in my life such rude and ignorant behavior from crew members, seems like someone told them the more rude you are you will get commission. First of all we paid 320 € round trip only gor seats to get extra larg leg room since it was 11 hour flight, not only they changed our seats and place us middle seats and we suffer 11 hours they were so rude, they said this is what it is. they didn't refund us, the whole 11 hour they didn't clean the toilets. they were super rude to passengers. I asked once where can I trash my garbage the flight attendant shouted for no reason and said there is no place for garbage. When they were with the trolley intentionally they will push passengers to go away instead of asking them. and they same experience on the return flight. Never ever fly with them
Philippine Airline (PAL) is wet leasing Planes from a Spanish company called “Wamos” using an Airbus A332, The routes are Manila - Sydney, Manila – Melbourne and vis versa. Inflight service is Not as good as PAL. They also do not serve children first which always did! As for the seat's are exceptionally uncomfortable and did not have enough padding on the seat base, but better then Cebu Pacific. Also to note is the seat reclining information is printed on the seat is back the front! Showing the leaver to be under the seat on the LEFT side, But it is located on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE SEAT, Entertainment selection was appalling very dated and limited. Food was average, first service was ok with a limited of 2 selections & the 2nd service Breakfast, was this crap bread bun with mashed corn beef in it. Cabin crew had some PAL attendants, but the Spanish attendants often did the PA announcements in very POOR ENGLISH, it was not easy if at all to understandable.I have been with PAL for about 10yrs now, and know what to expect, good service, food and seats etc. From my 2 flights from SYD-MNL & MNL-SYD with WAMOS, it is indeed not up to the stand I had come to expect form Philippine Airline (PAL). I need a uncomfortable seat as I have a bad back and I am a senior hence I end up with a sore back after these flights.I have been informed that PAL has now extend the contract with WAMOS to January 2025. I also was informed from an insider that PAL has been struggling with competition from Cebu Pacific Air. Thus they are using this Wamos. This could affect their reputation !!
Booked Philippine Air but had Wamos from Manila to Melbourne. Worst flight of my life. Seats were so small as was torture for 8 hours. Plane was also very hot and no offer of water. Staff were very average and almost annoyed to help. Never again!
Avoid this company at any cost. We had the unpleasant surprise to be contracted by Air Europa on the flight Madrid-Havana and back and these were the worst flights of my life. Ancient plane, food only once in 9 hours and afterwards I started to scratch from the food and the monitors didn’t work for 9 hours. Never again Air Europa or Wamos Air.
One of the worst flights I can remember coming back to Melbourne from Manila. The flight was full and it felt like the AC was off the whole time. The attendants barely attend. You will be waiting around ten minutes for someone to respond.
Worst most uncomfortable flight I have ever had, the only flight I have ever been hot on, least leg room out of all flights. These planes should only be used for one hour domestic flights nothing more, I am too scared to fly Philippine Airlines again in case I get this horrible carrier no thank you.
