Review Time
I can honestly say i enjoyed my flight from auckland to Perth with Wamos airline. The plane was full however the staff were lovely, very pleasant and helpful. The food was plentiful with main meal after takeoff was a choice of 2 mains which included several side dishes, maybe not all to everyones taste but enough options to be satisfied. I enjoyed a lovely chicken dish with creamy sauce that had lots of beans and carrots, a bread roll, spread and cheese as well, also a small tub of quioa salad. Dessert was a soft mousse? type dish and lovely. The cup of tea was perfect temperature not lukewarm. A pre arrival meal was a bread type roll with meaty filling..? Lamb, onion and slightly spicey? Maybe not everyones taste and as i was trying to avoid spicey i only ate some of it. A cake type slice and a pot of chopped up fresh fruit on the side. Alcohol was offered for refills and some passengers even went to galley to get a topup. Seats and leg room in economy a bit restrictive but ok. Pillow and blanket available. Choice of entertainmant on screen was fine and plenty of options. Toilets were always clean and i used them about 6 times during flight. Water was offered. Flight was smooth and embarking and disembarking was very organised. Thankyou Wamos for an enjoyable journey.
My first flight with Wamos wasn’t to bad but when I flew home, it wasn’t very pleasant. The entertainment was good but I only watched 2 movies on a 7 hour flight, however I wish there was more options. The food was 4/10 as the side dish’s are bad. When I asked a staff member whose drink options they had, they chuckled and said ‘soft drinks and stuff’ and didn’t explain what the options were. Later on in the flight I kindly asked for a bread roll as I was hungry and the lady said no so my friend and I asked another flight attendant and they had the same answer. The first flight attendant we asks then returned to us and said why did you ask that other lady and we said because we were unsure if there was bread or not and she said don’t do it again very rudely. 15 minutes later we call for assistance and we didn’t have anyone for 10-15 minutes. The lady next to us called the crew and the rude lady came straight away and saw us but ignored us. Another lady came to help us and mentioned that there were snacks as well even though we only asked for water which was very nice. Later on 3 of my friends come and talk to us but as we were at the back of the plane they could stand behind our chairs and not block the walk way. However one lady came up to us and said ‘there isn’t 5 air masks here’ very rudley and in a judging way. I felt as if she just wanted to have a dig at us as many people were lining up for the toilet in areas where there were no access to masks either. Overall I think some staff were very rude and I disliked there attitude towards my friend and I. I don’t think I will be going back on their any time soon. However to those few kind crew member they deserve a whole star.
Air NZ swapped out my flight to Perth and back to Auckland for Wamos Air. Never again! I read some reviews when this happened, not believing what I was reading. I was wrong. THE hardest seats, EVER. After 3 hours of uncomfortable there was no way to get comfortable. The seats did not recline and on a long overnight flight, this made it impossible to get some sleep.I have read comments saying the cabin crew were rude. I did not find this but got totally ignored for a much needed glass of water. No bell to ask anyone. On the plus side, the food was good. Not happy with Air NZ. If you book Air NZ and pay for Air NZ then that is what you should get.P.S. The domestic flight from Auckland to Palmerston North on an Air NZ aircraft was way more comfortable.
Delayed in Auckland for 5 and a half hours because the cockpit indicator for the exit door wasn't showing locked.Luckily,I was sitting in that row so had a couple of hours of good entertainment while the cabin crew, the flight crew, and then the Wamos maintenance gang had a go at it.Finally they disembarked us so they could pull the door to bits and fix it.Anyway, the cabin crew going over were great, friendly and helpful, but different crew coming back not so much.But Wamos, something you must fix is how much carry on luggage can be taken on board... Some passengers had 2 big wheelie bags.And when your in front of economy and last to board, there's nowhere left to stash your bag.
My back is completely stuffed after a flight from Perth to New Zealand, the seat was exceptionally uncomfortable! I only discovered the seat recliner lever when we landed no one had seats back as it is hidden away under the seat! On return flight delayed 6 hours as door would not close, sat on plane for 3 hours to be off loaded - in a lot of pain thanks to terrible seats.
Won’t fly Air NZ again if they are using Wamos. Was looking forward to Business class, and paid thousands for this. Meal was shocking. Couldn’t eat it and I noticed everyone around me left their chicken meal too. Bathroom kit smelled stale. Entertainment selection was appalling. Feel for the staff that stand in front of this quality. They were nice and polite, but the same Business Class cost as Air NZ? feel so ripped off majorly. Fed up with being ripped off
Booking Details: Flight NZ175 14:20hrs 10.2.24 from Auckland to Perth. We received appalling inflight service by the Wamos Air crew on the above flight. Our flight was changed from an Air New Zealand flight to Wamos Air in October 2023, Air New Zealand state that where ever your destination, you can expect the same great, uniquely Kiwi experience onboard, blending hospitality with world-class service. Well if you fly with Wamos Air that is not the case. My husband and I have never experienced such appalling inflight service. The air crew were inattentive, forgot several requests for drinks and didn’t service tea or coffee after the inflight meal. They seemed to be more interested in talking to each other, than serving passengers. I actually felt quite dehydrated through lack of water and had to help myself to the water because there was nobody around.
I have been flight with Wamos Air from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta on 8th February 2024. Love at first sight. Crew are lovely, hard worker and responsible. I had very excited with Pilot. He is one of the best pilot that I have ever flight experiences. Very smooth both take off and landing. You are fantastic, Captain ! Fantastico Wamos !
They said wamos is low cost carrier. For me Wamos is ancient carrier. Everything is old and broken. Etihad change my flight from abu dhabi to jakarta with wamos. Can you imagine 8 hours flight with nothing and broken airplane?? And some stewadress is disgusting
