If I could give zero stars, I would. Warner Solutions preyed on my elderly, vulnerable, and disabled mother by cold-calling her and offering a “free loft check.” Upon arrival, they were friendly at first, saw my even older, wheelchair-bound stepdad, then went up to inspect the loft. They came down with photos of black mould—later found to be fake pictures—and used scare tactics to pressure her into agreeing to insulation work.They rushed her into paying a £1,200 deposit for a £4,700 job, completely disregarding her legal right to a 14-day cancellation period. Within just two days, they claimed they had materials ready and tried to force her into going through with it. When I stepped in to cancel, their receptionist was rude, dismissive, and insisted she had no authority to stop the work. Despite me making it very clear that my mother was confused, upset, and did not want the work done, a man still called her to intimidate her into proceeding.Only when I threatened police action did they finally agree to refund the deposit. This company is nothing short of predatory, unethical, and exploitative—preying on elderly and vulnerable people with aggressive sales tactics and blatant lies. Avoid them at all costs.Left a google review on behalf of my mum, she received a call the following day threatening legal action against me for defamation of their business.
We approached this company after seeing their advert, as our loft needed serious attention, the membrane had rotted making an awful mess - everything was covered in bitumen dust from the rotting felt. Sales rep Alex Smith made an appointment to visit & do a survey, he understood our situation & catered for our needs around our life style. The installation team turned up on the following Tuesday, they did as was promised & worked non stop until the job was completed. Alex kept in touch by phone & came straight away when a problem was identified, he agreed & got the team back as soon as was possible to complete the job to our satisfaction. Now completed, we are over the moon. A big thank you to all concerned.
We had a few problems at first due to a misunderstanding around clearing the loft ready for work to be done. However this was soon sorted when our fitter, Sam R rang his boss who spoke to me and resolved the problem to our satisfaction. Sam R was nothing short of fantastic. He was on his own but happily worked with the clearance and then the foil installation. He was friendly, professional and kept us fully informed at every stage. Thanks Sam!
We had treatment to stop damp on the outside of the property and Zack and Adam were really good and even went out of their way to pressure wash my dad’s driveway and patio. My only issue was with the chasing for payment before the works were even complete. I’ve never had so many phone calls to pay up after one day! Workmanship absolutely no issue at all.
I had foil insulation installed along with rockwool in my large roof area. Jordan and Mitch did a good job and explained what they were going to do at every stage answering my questions and taking into consideration my preferences. It was a big job taking 2 days and they cleaned up after the work leaving everything tidy.
