genesis II S310 - Don’t buy!So I’ve had my Genesis II S310 for about a week now and used it twice.So far very disappointed, so I’ve had different bar bs now over 20years, a little bit of a foodie, grow veg etc, doesn’t mean I know it all but I’m no newbie.This isn’t a bar b, at best it’s a pretty oven. You cannot get the grills any where near hot enough, the oven yes but not the grills. Before we judge, yes I’ve read the trouble shooting guide, carried out a leak test, reset the lpg valve and examined the burn flames. Just today, having preheated for twenty minutes, roasted a chicken for 1.5hrs tried to char up some home made bread, pathetic effort, turned out I accidentally left some on the grill, it didn’t burn despite full whack for 30 minutes!I wouldn’t waste your money, and why make the most expensive chicken roster out of materials that make it impossible to clean.This is my first experience of the Weber brand and it’s very poor.Whilst some of the grill is good quality, other bits full woefully short of what I would expect of a bar b in this price bracket.
Quite frankly the worst retailer I've had the misfortune to deal with. Placed order and had payment taken the next day. Their terms say payment will be taken once shipped. Great so far. However, one week later, no communication and no BBQ. I have been chasing for an additional three weeks with correspondence normally being ignored. The odd message back simply says 'we're busy'. I'm still out of pocket, still receiving no communication, and still yet to receive my goods. Worst of all, I cannot even cancel my order and get a refund. DO NOT BUY.
It has been over 20 working days since I ordered the BBQ and accessories directly from the Weber website. I still await responses to my emails, they don’t answer the customer service number that you can call, it just rings out after 25 minutes of holding.Initially I was told that it would take 3-5 working days for delivery, then 8-10 days because of covid -19, which I understand. It’s now been 20+ days and no response to recent email for an update, impossible to even speak to anyone on the phone as no one answers and they have taken the money from my account and sent me an invoice. I wish I had used John Lewis but at the time they were sold out. So upset.
I must start off saying I was a Weber grill customer for 25 years. We recently purchased a New grill and used it about 15 times in the past 18 months. It’s caught on fire and almost set our home on fire on Memorial Day. I was in shock and proceeded to go to Home Depot and purchase a new one when the customer service agent told me I should really report it to Weber. This is where the nightmare started. I called Weber and after sending them pictures and going through six different customer service people over the course of two weeks with no one returning phone calls and just putting you off they decided to find a loophole in their warranty policy and state it was a grease fire. This is how they get out of the warranty! I took the pictures to a fire inspector who stated there is no way of determining what caused the fire- yet Weber customer Service sucks! As does their product! Buyer beware. No one returns the call even up to the corporate office! Weber catches on fire! Weber I s junk and there warranty means nothing as they do not stand behind their product! Buyer beware!
Just completed a customer support request with Weber about a workbench to a BBQ. They say they are not grease or oil proof and therefore stain. Apparently, the workbench should be renamed as a support bench as you should place a chopping board on top and close the BBQ down before you inspect your food in case it spits. That's not a BBQ its a joke. Customer lost. Don't buy a Weber
Very disappointed, today I was supposed be part a cooking lesson the best practices about my new weber gas BBQ. The represent of weber didn't turn up for the lesson and the event didn't start .I had to organaze me with a nanny to look after my 3 daughters for nothing.I was expecting more professionally from this company.
Customer Service of any company is the true face of what company stands for . So it’s important to have such People who have detail knowledge of product and can explain to others ( good communications skills.Rolf who is part of Weber Customer service has both of these qualities .
Weber has an excellent service. My Weber Spirit 310 has some problems to get fire in two of the tubes. It is more than 4 years old, but Weber will deliver new tubes and also new flavorizer bars which were corroded. I highly recommend Weber with a very high service.
Great product - but the reason I am leaving this review is the amazing customer service I continue to receive - many years after I have bought the product.The customer care team went the extra mile to help me fix my BBQ that wasn't firing properly after my botched cleaning attempt.
