After ordering and receiving a VE day badge and Spitfire coin on the 20/4/2025, WC have signed me up to a Subscription that I did not want and charged me £28.99 on 3/7/2025. I am absolutly livid about this and have been in touch with them for a refund ASAP and to remove all my credit card details and info.
Lovely items, but shame about hidden subscription traps. I shop online all the time, and have several subscriptions with other retailers, but felt like I was tricked into subscription here.Bought a commemorative coin in April (a one off), and was charged a subscription fee in July! I did not explicitly signed up to pay a subscription, so it must have been hidden somewhere in tiny print that no one reads. Contacted Westminster Collection and was told that an item was posted to me recently, and I will receive a refund when I 1. receive the item and 2. return itThat's rather unacceptable if you ask me. Shame on you, Westminster Collection.
I’ve bought few one off things in the past , but bought what I thought was a one off turns out I’m subscribed to £28.99 a lot of phone calls to bank , Westminster etc to cancel this , it’s very easy to get caught up, I’m hoping the cancellation is as easy as they told me
Initially a really great experience, I ordered two products, one arrived in good time and the other a month late, but I was roughly kept updated.I was then offered to sign up to a coin collection that had small print hidden surcharges to try and catch you out which I ignored.This was then followed by a charge to my account months after my singular purchase, charging me £28.99 with no explanation, no product, not even small print on my initial purchase.This company has tried to sneakily get me to sign up to a product by advertising low prices, only to increase the price a month later, and when I didn't sign up to it, the company has taken my money regardless.
The coins and pins themselves are fantastic quality and truly amazing. However, I was surprised and charged for additional items I didn't realize I was signing up for. There were no email notifications or letters to inform me about these charges. Furthermore, I found it frustratingly difficult to delete my account to prevent this from happening again. The process to cancel or delete the account is not clear at all.
