I called to get them to replace a trash compactor that was damaged at delivery. So far this morning I have been bounced around between 6 different offices and no one is taking care of the problem. Their service is horrendous and I would advise anyone to avoid dealing with this company unless you have nothing better to do than sit around on the phone.
I have purchased many Whirlpool appliances over my 45 years of married life. Most recently I have tirelessly to reach Whirlpool customer service by phone and email. They must have one person addressing phones and emails because I have had no satisfaction with the service. My washer is less than a year old and had sounded like a tank in my laundry room from the first load. Most disappointed
In November 2024, we had an unplanned need to but a new refrigerator. After a few hours of internet research, we settled on a Whirlpool French Door Bottom Mount; WRFF3036RZ00 and KD4809089. Issues: There are six compartments on inside of doors. Each time the doors are opened and closed, the items slide around and noisily bang each other with the possibility of breakage. There is no butter compartment or ice cube trays. The drawers in main compartment are wobbly and feel as if they will go off track or break. At first, my husband called to complain. Without an appointment two men showed up at my door about the refrigerator. I asked what they were supposed to do and neither know. One called a number to get more information but then left with no other communication with me. They were in an unmarked truck. I then emailed the customer team at Whirlpool. Someone sent me an email with a link to the Owners Manual and Parts list. I could not access. I asked that they be hyperlinked. A couple of weeks passed before a response was received. Only the manual was hyperlinked. I sent another request. This particular brand and model feels cheap. I don't know if I will be able to spend years with this appliance. I feel emotional each time I open the doors. Customer service is non responsive and seems even arrogant.
We purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher to replace our broken Whirlpool dishwasher. It was purchased at Home depot. The door will not shut. The unit will not run. Home depot says the install was perfect that it's A defective Whirlpool product and to call Whirlpool. Whirlpool is unreachable via phone or chat. This flimsy washer is a piece of junk and the company tries to pass off responsibility for their horrific substandard manufacturing. If we ever hear back from Whirlpool it will be a miracle. I implore anyone to avoid this company.
I bought a dishwasher in November, the installers were terrible. They showed up 4 hours late and no call. When installing it they put dings in my cupboard door next to the dishwasher. I put a claim in and 3 months later i still haven’t heard back. The dishwasher makes a noise when I ran it the first time and it was not level. The tech came out and said it was a bad motor. The place that services the appliances canceled 5 times and 3 months later the tech came out and installed the new motor. So now it’s still making the same noise and after running it, it leaked all over and I can’t wipe up under the dishwasher or cabinets and it is going to ruin my floor I’m afraid. I bought it in November and here it is Feb and still can’t use my dishwasher. I will never buy from them again.
Truly Horrible Experience!! Washer was used about eight times and died!!! Took two weeks for service who needed to order parts !! Two months has passed no one cares Whirlpool o r repair people won’t talk to you! Truly a horror show with so fr a 750 dollar loss!,, (Not done with them yet) Why would you make it so hard?
We have a top load Whirlpool clothes washing machine. We’ve had it serviced. This is the fifth time now they’re telling us we have to download the app so we can get updates to the washing machine. When the spin cycles on it keeps spinning Until we turn it off. Goes off balance very easily, soap dispenser doesn’t work. Cycles don’t work when you want them to, so you have to resort to another cycle. Whirlpool appliances suck! NEVER AGAIN!
My upper spray arm on my dishwasher broke Monday evening, called Tuesday morning at 8:17 and was told my dishwasher was out of warranty last week, ok, so I called back today to get my serial number and model number due to could not find my paper work, was told my warranty actually expired on Wednesday, yesterday, but they would not honor the warranty, told me I would have to purchase an extended warranty to have service covered or pay out of pocket. My fault I couldn’t find my receipt but their fault for terrible customer service!
Bought a whirlpool dishwasher at Costco for a good price to replace our decade old (great) Bosch. It was a big mistake. It is a bad design. Do not buy a Whirlpool. Do not trust Costco appliances either. Prices be damned! It doesn’t melt the Whirlpool recommended detergent packets. When detergent packets do dissolve, the dishes aren’t clean. Doesn’t dry dishes- it leaves them wet. It is the loudest dishwasher known to man; can’t watch TV in family room as it is so loud. Can’t load plastics in bottom rack. The best wash takes 5 hours. 5 hours. 5 hours!!! So if you load it after breakfast, don’t plan on using it at lunch. And so loud you can’t watch tv for 5 hours! Also the silverware tray is in the door and is essentially blocked from the sprayer. So count on dirty silverware to go with your dirty dishes.Ignore my review at your own peril.
