THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! INFERIOR PRODUCTS. WHIRLPOOL WENT FROM A TOP OF THE LINE QUALITY COMPANY THAT STOOD BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS TO A VERY OVER PRICED COMPANY ON THE SAME LEVEL WITH WISH.COM. Crap merchandise no customer service just a big rip off!
I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator model # WRF560SEHZ03, French door, freezer on the bottom on Jan 4, 2025. 2 weeks later, it stopped cooling and the ice melted in the freezer along with my food. Although it is covered by the warranty, food is not. You expect the unit to work for more than 2 weeks after purchased. So now I have $200. worth of ruined food I have to throw out. Whirlpool will do nothing to compensate their customers. After I have it repaired, how long will the refrigerator last before it goes out again? I'm not happy at all with this product. Update: The repair lasted 2 weeks and then I noticed my Whirlpool refrigerator was warm inside and my frozen foods were once again WARM! I called and someone came out 3 days later and come to find out the compressor was bad! A brand new refrigerator and the compressor is bad, can you believe it? I had to wait 3 more days for the new compressor to come in. It took a few hours for the repair. So far, it has been cooling and has past the 2 week breakdown window. Whirlpool sent me an email for a review. On that review I noticed my model refrigerator was on sale for $1600.00! I purchased mine on sale by Whirlpool for $1800.00! What the heck Whirlpool! I feel so screwed over by this company. Please people, do your diligence before making a major appliance purchase.
Ordered a refrigerator online at Whirlpool USA online. Saved $80.00 from buying it locally. Thought we did good. Waited a week for delivery. Then it started; Online delivery updates were way off! Delivered over an hour after it said they were at my address. Oh, it gets worse! The fridge was brought into my heated garage where I removed the plastic and the Styrofoam corner packing protection. To my dismay, a damaged front dent at the location of the door seal. This item was packaged with the dent and sold as new.I vented to customer service and told them I can no longer trust Whirlpool. They started a return, but I was told I have to call back to schedule a pick up. Now even more disappointed. No more Whirlpool!
I purchased a washer in August of 2024. The washer was periodically holding water after completion of the wash cycle. I called for service three times for this problem. I was told in January of 2025 that Whirlpool would no longer come out for this repair. I was told to experiment with different loads and Cycles which I had already done. Whirlpool indicated to me that although they could not determine the problem they would no longer send service to my home for that problem. End result I paid $2,080.57 for grief. I did not get a washing machine that works like new. I have reached out to the Federal Trade commission, State consumer protection, Attorney General with the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Better Business Bureau, and Facebook in my attempt to get help and let others know how whirlpool is treating their customers
I don’t know why we have to submit a star just to leave a review. You don’t deserve a star. The whirlpool washer sucks model WTW4850HW3 sucks. What type of engineering is this? Where you can put two socks or two shirts into the washer and it dispenses 10 gallons of water. But if you put a real load into the washer it dispenses 4 ounces of water. The weight sensor mechanism you idiots agreed upon is stupid and the worst idea ever. You have the machine tricking itself dispensing to much water for two pieces of clothing. And tricking itself not dispensing enough water for bigger loads. This is really ridiculous I literally have to fill up buckets in my tub. Just to add water to the loads when I’m using the stupid thing. You engineers try to make things so smart when in actuality it’s all retarded. Quit putting all of these computers and features in something so simple as a washing machine. So they get back to operating like the older ones use to. Gosh!!!!!!
Purchased a new washer on the whirlpool site. It took months to get with 5 rescheduled delivery dates from them. Finally got it and noticed they were unpacking from a damaged box in the street. The machine looked okay so I didn't say anything. Ran first load and it leaked on the bottom. I called and they agreed to bring us a new one. Again they have resceduled twice, now they say there are no delivery dates available at this time. What does that mean, I will never get the replacement? Never again, go to GE, they were great with our fridge.
I purchased a Whitlpool dishwasher from a local appliance store at the end of August. It leaked the first time it was operated. I am now waiting for the third service call to attempt to repair an obviously flawed lemon. Whirlpool only utilizes Platinum Factory Service in the Pittsburgh area. Platinum apparently only has one technician in this part of the state. Further, they are NOT accredited by the BBB. They have canceled and are very difficult to communicate with. Whirlpool customer service stated that they could do nothing and had no control over how repairs were scheduled. I asked 3 times for the call to be escalated due to a new machine needing 3 service calls and uncooperative repair business. The customer service agent begrudgingly filled out an escalation request. I would look elsewhere for a new appliance instead of Whirlpool. If they do satisfy my situation, I will revise my comments, but I can't see that happening.
Bought a Whirlpool refridgerator from Costco in March 2024. At that stage I thought that Whirlpool was a good brand. In December 2024 the refridgerator was making a very loud noise. I reported the issue to Whirlpool. ASI Appliances are subcontracted by Whirlpool to service Whirlpool appliances that are still under warranty. The technician determined that replacement parts were required for the repair. A month later and still no word from Whirlpool on when these parts will be available. Buyer beware. There is something seriously wrong with Whirpool.
I do not believe it’s fair that there is even a one star to give this company. Their products are garbage. None of their customer service has a clue what they are doing. They make you repair everything instead of sending someone over and take accountability for their poor products.I beg anyone who is researching online never purchase from this company. It is the worst one I’ve dealt with in my entire life. I rarely write reviews but it’s so bad I decided to come online to write the review.
