Whirlpool washing machine is 17 months…

Whirlpool washing machine is 17 months old. We wash 2 loads of laundry a week. The control board went out. Technician suggested replacing it. I called Whirlpool and no warranty coverage. They offered to send me a 20% purchase discount. No thank you. I asked her how often this complaint comes up and she says it doesn't. Obviously they lie. Do not buy their products, cheaply made.

Absolutely Horrible Experience

Absolutely Horrible ExperienceI bought the new Whirlpool dryer hoping for reliability, but it’s been a nightmare! It barely dries anything and is constantly leaving clothes wet. After numerous calls to customer service, they still haven't fixed the issue. It’s been THREE MONTHS of back-and-forth with no resolution. Every time I call, I get the same empty promises, but no one actually takes action. This is beyond frustrating. I will never buy another Whirlpool product again and will warn everyone to stay away from this company

No customer service

No customer service, only useless prompts that limit your options-- whether you call in or "chat". Customer service is as much of a product as the appliance itself. As a result, I will never buy Whirpool again. Horrible.

Bad search engine

I bought a microwave oven in Hungary. Unfortunately, the search engine on the Whirpool website was not working properly, so I bought a product that was missing one of the most important features for me. Unfortunately, my repeated emails have not been answered.

very unsatisfied customer

Never been able to schedule an appointment for repairs on whirlpool washer. Automated system does not help.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. My whirlpool microwave died after a few years. The model was discontinued and their website listed a replacement. This is an above range model, as was the one which died. I wrote and asked if the replacement used the same mounting bracket as the previous one. After 3 weeks without a replay except "We received your inquiry and someone will respond soon" I decided to go look at one at a local retailer to see if I could tell if they were still using the same bracket. I did not want to have to drill new holes in my cabinetry or wall. It turned out they were still using the same bracket. After purchasing and installing the new microwave I received another message from them telling me I had to get a service person to answer my question. They should have easily answered my question. They a week latter they wrote me and told me I would not be able to use the same bracket, which I did use it was the same bracket that came with the new microwave.

Poor Quality

In July of 2024 we bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator, Model WRF535SWHZ12, and we are very disappointed in the quality of the four shelves inside. The fridge is just 6 months old and there are dents in the metal facing of all shelves. We know this is cosmetic but feel this should not happen after 6 months. After calling the warranty company and Whirlpool, there is nothing they can do after 30 days. There are 2 senior citizens living here so it is not like people are banging the shelves while putting food items in. This is poor quality in our opinion. We had a GE Profile Fridge before this and it lasted for 14 years, no issues. We are moving soon and have to leave the refrigerator here for the new owners so needless to say, we will not be purchasing any Whirlpool appliances for our new home.The appliances are GE profile in our new home so we will continue purchasing that brand.

Bad product, bad company

Spent 1055 on washer and dryer in December. Dryer is not stopping with timer. On phone with customers service rerouted 10x and had to explain what’s going on every time. Will not put me on phone with manager. Saying I need to spend 150 for service or 20 for insurance. Ridiculous. Horrible customer service, horrible manager and horrible product. They give you a product that breaks soon after buying and then a manager wont help. Bad business ethics.

Whirlpool is JUNK

Whirlpool is JUNK! 2 refrigerators after the 1st on lasted 2 months. 2nd one broke within 6 months. Repaired and lasted 2 years, broken again. Over stove microwave worked 3 years and door latch broke. Cheaper to get another than to repair. All JUNK
