Don't buy any whirlpool products,Model # WRS555SIHVO3 Refrigerator with indoor icemaker stops making ice when ever it feels like it especially when you get power glitches the waterline in the door freezes up frequently (icemaker is in the left side door. So you have to unplug the fridge for an hour or more to thaw the waterline out! Way to go WhirlpoolCustomer service is non existent so you will get no help from whirlpool , since they are ready got your money why bother taking to desperate and pissed off customers. This Nightmare has been going on for more than 3 yearsI hope they die on the vine and go out of Business forever. Fuc*off whirlpool

EXCELLENT service and compassion

I bought a Maytag (Whirlpool) range from a local appliance sales store. One burner was not working properly from the beginning so they ordered a part for it. In the meantime, the store went out of business while I was still under the one-year warrantee. When I reached out to Maytag, each and EVERY time I was greeted with a caring human who listened and assured me they would take care of my issue. We live in a remote area where they could not find a service person to fix the issue so they are sending me a new range. While I think a new range is excessive, the Whirlpool/Maytag company did everything they could to make my range safe and deliver me a new unit. Every person I spoke to was not talking to me with a script like sooooo many other companies do. They are cheerful, articulate, and service oriented. I applaud this company in hiring USA and treating their customers with such care. Thank you!

Don't buy whirlpool

We built a new home so we ordered new appliances. Couldn't get the refrigerator we wanted so we were talked into purchasing a whirlpool refrigerator. Was put on backorder for over a year. After we finally recieved the refrigerator it only lasted 7 months. Lucky we still under warranty. The store we bought it from provided us with a completely new fridge since the refrigerator was only 7 months old. Of course had to wait a couple of months to get another new fridge. Now having same issue and it only been 1 year and 9 months. Don't recommend buying and whirlpool appliances

The worst appliances that I've had

The worst appliances that I've had. Almost one year after we purchased the trio - electric stove+oven, over the stove microwave and refrigerator we had problems with the microwave (it was making a loud noise), then with the freezer (stopped making ice) and almost 3 years later the display of the microwave died. I'm not happy with the stove either, it got scratches and it's very difficult to clean. The worst appliances!!!

Rebates are a hoax

Bought a washer dryer and dishwasher 4 months ago. They still haven’t send the rebates. We’ve called. Emailed. They’ve said it was on the way for over a month now in the mail. After spending months saying the website was down etc. They're fraudulent.

My dishwasher broke down within a year

My dishwasher broke down within a year, then I was roped into a customer service plan that was so difficult to get out of. This has been the WORST experience I have had with an appliance. It is NOT worth it, do not buy whirlpool unless you want a product that breaks, and have to deal with a plan that is expensive to cancel.

Piece of crap!!

Sorry for such a lengthy message, but it's been quite a fiasco of a year.I have never been so disappointed/mad/aggravated in my entire life!I have purchased Whirlpool products all my life, moving forward I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT!!! I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator June 2023. I had several issues with this unit and was more than willing to have each problem diagnosed and fixed. The continuous problem with this unit; in the refrigerator, it freezes everything! In my opinion, after 5 times of service coming out for the same issue, is beyond ridiculous! With the continuous freezing, I have had to throw out SO much food. I'm tired of working and throwing my money away. I kindly explained this to each representative I've dealt with, not once was there an offer of anything being replaced or gift card, etc. All that was said, “Oh I do apologize for that”. Yet, I'm supposed to be readily available for service to come and come and come again; continuing to miss work and must throw 'frozen' food away!I'm not, and don't claim to be educated in refrigerator service, but I do know that a brand-new appliance, under a year old, shouldn't have so many problems. I am entitled to have a working refrigerator that I paid for!!FINALLY on July 22, 2024 I received a replacement refrigerator. Here we are just a few weeks later and this unit is doing the same thing; freezing everything in the refrigerator. I went to the grocery store last week, and the weekend I had to throw everything away!! The money I’m throwing away, the time and effort it takes to continuously check things, is just uncalled for. Planned a get together over the weekend, low and behold, all the dishes I had prepared were ruined. I contacted the customer service department explaining just as mentioned above. I was told we would have to start the process over again to have the service team come out. This is beyond ridiculous and just isn’t acceptable. I am not going through all that again. I was more than patient and accommodating the first go around, but I am not doing it again. The amount of money I have spent, the time I missed work to have the numerous service visits, and then again missed work to have the part installed or reevaluated, the time and efforts to clear the refrigerator out and throw everything way is more than enough.At this point, a refund of the original amount I spent for the first unit I purchased, along with the 5 year maintenance agreement ($723) is more than reasonable in my opinion for all the disruption and costs that I’ve incurred. I DO NOT want another Whirlpool appliance. I am reaching out to you in the hopes that you will do what is right and Whirlpool will try and regain some of the lost customer service value. I appreciate your time and attention in this matter, and look forward to hearing from you or your team. Junky equipment and poor service

The compressor on the refrigerator went out after two weeks. The part is on back order and not expected for a few weeks. Poor design of equipment and planning for correcting issues. I called Whirlpool and found out they are not willing to expedite the part. This is not a good company.

My lights on my refrigerator were…

My lights on my refrigerator were blinking. I called service and spoke to a Leslie about the issue. I asked her how much was the service be to fix the lights. She asked me for model and serial #, after giving that information she then informed me that they have had problems with the lights and my model was cover parts and labor to repair. I was very excited thinking this was going to cost a lot. I even questioned her about the age of the fridge, she said my model was covered. She set up service for next day. Next day service called and said this was not covered. Called whirlpool back and they informed me that they would not honor what the girl had said. Asked to speak to supervisor and she again would not honor what the employee had told me. She would not let me talk to anyone higher up. I have been in retail all my life and when an employee stats something it should be honored. I would think very carefully about your purchase of whirlpool. And 1 star is too much!!!!!Later that day Whirlpool called me back and decided to honor the original request. They are taking care of the blinking lights in my refrigerator. Thank you whirlpool.
