Windows World is not the company they proclaim to be. I had a storm door installed in my home. It was not installed correctly as the new door that was installed, the workers did not shim the door and my door still isn't right. I had one of their maintenance men come out to install a part that broke, and he even said the door was not installed correctly. He said he would let them know, I have tried to make contact and to this date nothing has been done to correct it and it's been a long time. This is not a company that I would want to install windows, storm door or anything. Should anyone like to see pictures or want more information, please feel to contact me at 931-302-1893....
Wonderful, the windows look beautiful. He really did a great job. It is always a pleasure to work with Window World, I like to Thank you and everyone else for such a great job!! I have bought windows from my last house. Couple of months ago put 7 windows in my house now and today Window World installed 6 more. For me there is no other company I would even consider. They stand behind their product and replace them for no charge if the windows go bad. Now that’s a warranty!
I purchased a home that had installed windows from Window World. The warranty was transferred to me. I thought great. BUT getting them to actually do warranty work is another thing. I contacted them June 2023 regarding windows that do not fit properly and have gaps where you can see daylight thru, and was told in an email by the owner that "There is not a trip charge on that, but you will have to wait until we have a crew or sales rep headed that way to do other appointments." So in the mean time I have windows that do not function properly. I contacted a local contractor that inspected the windows and said they were not installed correctly and did not use shims to have a proper fit. Have no idea how long of a wait I will have. With that way the windows are and are installed I highly doubt if anyone in the area is jumping at a chance to have this company install windows for them.
Lies, bait and switch, and more lies. Contract was for windows & sliding glass door. Door measurements were wrong & wrong door was ordered. Window World gave new quote for door additional 110% ($4700 vs $9800). No response to emails, phone calls, text messages to salesman, managers, or owners. Charged double for permit, inspection of windows not ordered, finishing of windows not complete, broken screens. They talk a good game and do nothing. I have no doubt they are laughing at me since I was dumb enough to separate the contract since I believed they would work with me on making the sliding glass door right. A truly idiot move on my part but I was taken with their support of St Jude and did not imagine a company that supports St Jude would be so ruthless. That may sting more than their underhanded business practices.
On Jan.25, 2022, I signed a contract with Window World to replace the Windows in my small house, 10 windows. Well, here we are June 14th 2023, a year and 5 months later and they still haven’t finished. When you call, they won’t return your calls. When they realize you only paid half up front, then they will call. Promise you that it’s will get done ASAP. Then months of silence. Start over, schedule install, no show. So, finally this week they started a bullying campaign. Had a lawyer send me a letter saying I have 10 days to pay. Still they have not finished the original correct windows. I didn’t say the Windows were Wrong, Window World said the Windows were wrong. I never canceled an appointment, never refused a call from them. They just suck at customer service. They never return your calls in a timely manner. I wouldn’t exaggerate or lie because I could be sued. So what I saying is fact! Shop Window World at you own risk. Im sure there are those who have used them and think they are great. If they treated everyone like they have treated me, they wouldn’t be in business . They promised they would be here Monday to remeasure the window (4th time) . Let’s see how that goes.
This company has very poor customer service. We ordered a sliding door in November of 2022 and it arrived in March 2023. It was not installed correctly and light shines through the bottom of the door. The screen falls out when we put it in for some air. There is never any follow-up on the companies part and when we call we are always greeted by the answering machine. A couple of installers came to look at the door and scheduled a time to come back to fix it. That date was cancelled by the office. Still waiting to get these problems resolved and it is almost July 1.
Since February 2023 I have been waiting for the replacement of two windows that have lost their airtightness. They are under warranty. The Company have promised me that they are on the way but they do not arrive. It's all lies.The service they provide in Orlando, Florida is totally deficient. I do not recommend it.
I had a great experience from start to finish, I have read other reviews that seem like a nightmare, I live in Cleveland, TN my salesman was Josh the Manager is Brian Palmer and my installers were Mike & Zak, every one was professional, courteous, thorough, they communicated well and Mike & Zak were seasoned veterans, you could tell they do this every day, they did have to come back the 2nd day to finish but I did not want a rush job I am SUPER SATISFIED with my experience with Window World and it all started back in 2020 when Brian Palmer was a sales associate and now the general manager, The pricing was very fair and honestly thousands less than all others, I got a deal, but I did not rush this was a 3 year decision made with great thought and care. They installed two skylights. My shades (from another company) did not work after installation Someone came out and claimed it wasn’t done by them. Very strange that two shades became unglued at the exact same time. Now I have to put another $4000.00 into new remote skylight shades. Not happy
