I hadn’t used Wowcher before and I found the process unnecessarily complex. I redeemed the voucher but it didn’t work. It smells like a scam. You pay Wowcher but get the product from somebody else with instructions to login using a different email address and password which feels like somebody is sharing their login details. I already had a free Spotify account and I can’t be bothered to try and claim a refund since reports show you are unlikely to get it anyway.
I purchased Spotify Premium and the redemption code is not recognised when attempting to register it with Spotify. This is fake. I have exhausted all attempts to contact Wowcher but to no avail, my problem remains. I am now seeking a refund via my bank. Please do not purchase this, It is fake.
The dates shown on Wowcher at purchase are not actually available. When you complain, Wowcher washes their hands of it, blaming the third-party provider — but they’re complicit by enabling this with no checks or responsibility. Misleading and unfair.
I booked a 1 night stay at the holiday inn York for 1 night at the cost of £123.99 for the 19th and 20th november 2025 , I sent all the money to wowcher on the 29th September 2025 and got 1 email back with a bar code , I then had a 2hr drive to the holiday inn they new nothing about my reservation and could not accommodate me , so I had to go online and find a self catering flat at a cost if £63.00, I have since had numerous contact with woucher and they do not want anything to do with it , this site called wowcher is a scam and a total con artist that want to take my money with no accommodation I URGE PEOPLE DO NOT USE WOWCHER AS I DID IT IS A SCAM
I bought a Spotify deal that has ultimately ended up a scam Tried to get in touch with the merchant and wowcher but ignored by both after requesting a refund , this is shocking how they don’t do their due diligence before allowing merchants on to sell , I’ll keep trying to get my refund but wowcher seemed to just hide and hope people just go away it’s shocking Update 24.11.25 : @wowcher you haven’t spoke to me regarding this case I submitted a request for a refund and you declined, this is disgusting behaviour especially as 100s of not thousands have been affected by this scam
Three advent calendars bought not what was advertised cost £14.99 each plus £4.99 each postage which is very expensive- not up to expectations not opened in perfect condition asked for a refund and company Game Changer sent refund details sent them back as requested only cost me £6 for all three so Woucher make a lot of money from the consumer!!! Woucher WONT give my money back although it states if items are returned within 14 days and in perfect condition. Customer services are not helpful at all. I will not purchase from woucher again . BEWARE PEOPLE
The deals are ok sometimes, but once you add on fees aren't worth much of a saving. The goods you can purchase are of poor quality. The reason for their one star is their abysmal customer service. Yes, they respond quickly. But, and this is a big but, their customer service representatives have only one brain cell that they have to share. They cannot read a question in full and send an irrelevant answer. Over and over and over again. I don't know if they use school students or don't understand English but it has cost me so much time for them not to respond over pittance.In summary, ok deals. Works quite well until something goes wrong, which is why I will stay away in future
