I received a reply on trust pilot twice, last reply being 5 days ago. I STILL HAVE NO REPLY. I emailed them. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY. Unless you want to get called by an angry Indian voice try upselling you. Dont trust their trustpilot.com promises. They said I would be receiving an email instead I just had continuing problem mentioned on my trustpilot review. Please just dont do mystery stuff with them. ABSOLUTE SCAM - buy it if you want to be harassed by Indian spam calls. Take HOURS to book the mystery holiday. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUND TOO. Please please avoid
Ordered the Spotify deal, it had been widely advertised in newspapers etc. once redeemed (via a weird 3rd party app) an email arrived from a software company (when you look on companies house it has directors based in morocco and had tried to wind up and been blocked several times, has no UK address just the companies house default). I expected to contract with Wowcher who would provide a discount code for Spotify. This software company provided a random outlook email account (looked like an English name) and password, which looked very scammy. I did a bit of research and a lady on Facebook had mentioned she’d used the login and had all her phones passwords compromised and money taken from her bank. Other reviews state the account works for a month. Others suggest you can’t change the region (India/egypt etc) all of which breach spotifys t&c’s, along with the fact the email isn’t mine. My concern was it was someone’s hacked profile as outlook aren’t very secure. Contacted Wowcher via WhatsApp and they forwarded all my concerns to the merchant who told them ‘ it’s fine it’s just an account’…. Of course a scammer would say that. Asked for a refund over 3 times. No refund. There are trading standards offences here people (under the DMCC act), contact citizens advice consumer service and build some momentum, so it can’t be ignored. No due diligence of the companies they have used seems to be have done. Also check out the other Wowcher review page on trustpilot. Next stop is to try for charge back via bank.
