Review Time
Purchased a wowcher fir European Xmas market. Redeemed the voucher but had to contact the travel company as had no contact from them. The agent was very rude when I refused the upsell. Said would call me back with flight details etc. No one called back. I asked for his name and when I had to call yet again and asked if i could speak to him they guy laughed at me and said never heard of him. I went through it all again and was told I will get confirmation email in 24hrs. Still nothing. Called back and asked to cancel and money refunded snd he put the phone down. I tried to call back but my number was blocked. I contacted wowcher several times and have had absolutely no help what so ever. I trid ringing the travel agency again this time using a different mobile number and got through immediately. When I explained my dilemma the agent put the phone down on me. Called back but nuumber but cant get through. I sent email within 14 days to cancel booking again, no reply. This was 1 month ago!! I was due to go next week 28/11 and still no help from Wowcher. All they say is contact customer services of the agency. Ive lost count of all the times I have had to explain to Wowcher. Even had an email saying an agent will contact me at a day and time to suit me. I gave details and time as expected no one rang. The travel agents have really bad reviews and wish I read before booking from stranded at airport to no hotel room all made Wowcher aware and were no help. To me this is a scam and even though its seems Wowcher are aware si why are they still dealing with this company. The trip was a retirement gift for my Wife I just need my money back so I can take her to a UK Xmas market ive lost £165 I just want it back. I will never use Wowcher again. This is serious and Wowcher have done nothing!!!!
I tried to purchase some soft ware with a voucher the company linked it through to a product at full price and despite repeated attempts would not offer the voucher price. When I contacted the software company they sent the link which went to a discontinued web-site for a product that the company not longer produced. They offered me an alternative which I accepted but found out later that this was widely available at half the voucher price, The software offered on wowcher if this is anything to go by is not worth it. I spent in excess of 6 hours on something they couldn't deliver
Bought a voucher in Dec 2024 as a gift, but somehow the validity of the voucher was May 2024-Apr2025? How can something be valid for 6 months before purchase? I explained in an email to customer support, and received back the most appalling, rude customer service I have ever experienced. I will not use wowcher again, nor should you.
