Horrible support!I have gone through the video call about the same thing over and over again with no resolution.Support is telling me it will take one hour , then one hour changes into 24 hours, then 48 and goes on for days. My issue is still not resolved after all this time. I demand to receive the service thats worth $1000.00
I opened a Xapo account with high expectations, but from day one, every transfer I made, in or out, was delayed and subjected to "checks." I tried to be patient, but things only got worse. A month ago, I deposited money into my account, and as soon as the funds landed, they restricted my account. No explanation, no reason,just locked out, unable to make any internal transfers or withdrawals.I spent an entire month trying to figure out what was going on, but all I got from their support was the same generic answer: "The team is working on it. We don't know yet." No answers, no progress. After a month of this nonsense, I had enough and requested them to close my account. This started the second nightmare. They spent another week just reviewing my request to close the account.Still restricted, I couldn't even transfer my own money back to my bank. Eventually, they asked for some additional details, which I provided immediately. Days went by, more reviews, more delays. Finally, they scheduled a Zoom call where I explained the situation, showed my account, and confirmed ownership. And then, another two weeks passed with zero updates. I have no clue what is going on.Last week, I was told that they couldn’t send money to the provided details. I checked, and it turned out the details were incorrect and I had never requested the funds be sent to that account. They apologized, said they’d sort it out, and started the process over. Now, days later, I get another message saying they can’t send money to the details I gave them and suggested sending it back to the original account. Fine, I sent them the information again, but now, days later, they’re still "reviewing" it.It’s mind-boggling. This company has no concept of urgency or customer service. They have no problem wasting months of your time with empty promises like “we’ll update you soon” and “please bear with us.” A month and a half later, and I’m still stuck in limbo.Xapo is slow, disorganized, and completely unreliable. I paid for their terrible services, and all I got in return was frustration and endless delays. Do yourself a favor: DON’T OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. It's a waste of time, money, and energy. There are far better options out there.
