Review Time
I have no issues with the service provided by the staff or the aircraft itself. If I travel again in the future, it will be primarily for this reason. However, I am quite dissatisfied with the baggage regulations. I have 140kg, but due to the rules for my destination, I lost 24kg. Only one airline allowed box cartons, while others did not, making it difficult to navigate these rules. My global courier company accepts cartons on every flight, but not for my destination.
This airline is a total scam. I have lost ₹1,50,000. Even with a valid visa and a specific entry confirmation for 'Karachi' from the relevant authorities, they denied boarding to me and my minor daughter.
I waited for 2 hours at the counter, pleading for assistance, but they showed no compassion. I even went to their main office but received no response and was met with dishonesty. They are simply holding onto my hard-earned money and refusing to let us fly.
I traveled this same route with them in 2022, so there is no justifiable reason to deny us now. This is blatant mistreatment of a woman and a child. AVOID THIS AIRLINE. THEY ARE THIEVES!
I demand an immediate FULL REFUND of ₹1,50,000, or I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Court and relevant authorities.
My journey with the service from Istanbul to Tangier on 18.12.2025 was fantastic. The only downside was that, despite being in the first row to board, I was instructed to go to the back as they were boarding from there first. Other than that, everything was excellent!
After a three-year hiatus, I recently flew with this airline and was pleasantly surprised by its value for money. The seats in Economy class were quite comfortable, and there was ample legroom. The food options were excellent and reasonably priced. One standout feature was the city check-in service in Dubai for my flight from Abu Dhabi. It would be great if they could allow additional luggage purchases beyond 40 kg.
No major issues to report. Just a heads-up that at the airport, they may weigh a rucksack and hand luggage together for a total of 10kg; we weren't checked, but many others were. At the other airport, they didn't weigh bags, but they did check what we had. On our 7-hour flight, no complimentary food was provided; if you wanted food or drinks, you had to purchase them, so we made sure to bring our own to avoid high prices at the airport. You get what you pay for—I'm flying with them again in two days because their rates are significantly lower than other airlines during the holiday season.
Departures and arrivals were on time, and the booking process was simple. The flights are reasonably priced, eliminating the need for agents. The crew was friendly. While the menu can be pre-booked or purchased on board, it would be ideal to have an East African menu for travelers from Nairobi, especially since I had a stopover in Sharjah and the subsequent flight to Male offered the same menu!
I had a flight on Friday, the 13th of 2025 from a location to a city with a scheduled departure at 15:15. During check-in, my hand luggage and backpack were weighed, totaling around 14kg. I was aware of the 10kg limit, but I was shocked to be charged 60 euros for just 4kg over, especially when an additional 20kg checked bag on the website costs only 20 euros. After the weighing, they asked me to fit my suitcase into a size checker. I struggled to make it fit, even though it was the correct size. The staff member insisted on charging me extra, but I managed to get it in, which changed her stance. This entire situation felt unnecessary and seemed like an attempt to extract more money from passengers. My previous flight from another location didn’t involve any of this hassle. While checking in, I encountered fellow passengers heading to the same destination, who had a scheduled departure at 7 AM but were delayed by over 8 hours. Air Arabia then assigned them the same departure time as mine (3:15 PM), leading to significant confusion. Many people were running around, unsure of what was happening. Ultimately, their flight was delayed an additional 1h15, along with mine. They arranged a bus to transport us from the airport to the plane, causing further delays. No one offered an apology for the inconvenience. Additionally, they announced that there was no card payment option on the plane, forcing us to pay in cash. This added to the frustration. The level of stress I experienced during this ordeal is indescribable.
My initial experience with the airline was generally positive. However, the transit experience at the airport was quite disappointing. The security and ground staff were not helpful and seemed rather rude, offering no assistance. When I had questions, the representative simply stated to return at flight time. The gate remained closed until an hour before departure, leaving passengers confused as they gathered, while staff appeared unsure and were checking instructions via phone.
A Distressing Experience with the Service. The security personnel insisted my partner remove her bangles and rings, which she struggles to take off. Their pressure led to injuries on her hands and fingers, which was completely inhumane and unacceptable. Their baggage policies are extremely unfair, as even small handbags were weighed at the aircraft door, resulting in a hefty and unjustified fee. The customer service was very poor, with inconsistent ground staff and terrible treatment of passengers. I would never choose this service again.
