Excellent system.

It is a beautiful system that works as expected. One thing that comes to mind is the addition to Carplay. The app gives a message using geofence that you should arm or disarm the system. We usually leave the house in the car, so it would be great to be able to use the functionality on the touch screen in the car.

Awesome Ajax Security System…

I had the Ajax Security System installed 6 months ago and have been very impressed with it. I’m in an apartment block on the 3rd floor and my garage is in the basement. My technician was able to install a camera downstairs that is part of the same system despite it being 4 floors down from the main hub! Having an App makes it easy to use and notifications are instant and I can control everything from the App. The fobs are convenient and effective. Being a wireless system made it easy to install by my technician and cost effective. Great system and highly recommend

The app is easy to use and it works

The app is easy to use and it works. This makes me feel safe. When I was forced to get a new number, by this time I forgot my password. Tech support worked with me to get it fixed. Big thank you to tech support!

We've had our Ajax Security System for around six months now …

We've had our Ajax Security System for around six months now & find it a really great wireless home security and alarm system, A very easy-to-use App on my iPhone was all that was needed and we were up and running. A few tiny glitches here and there that we just had to work our way around i.e. washing on our clothes-line in the back-yard moving in the breeze has set the alarm off twice PLUS when we've been dog-sitting for family members' pets on two very short-term occasions, we had to end up not setting the alarm during the night as the dog would invariably trigger the garage-alarm. This happened despite us attempting to "tweak that alarm" as per the instrictions in the manual. However, the animal's movement in the garage during the night STILL activated the alarm, so easier all round to just leave it off altogether for those couple of days! Kind regards BR

Unable to get Administrative rights back

Don't get me wrong, Ajax is a very neat and easy system to setup. But here is the problem we ran into. My ex-tenant and myself where in a legal battle due to non-payment of rent. Eventually we had the court remove her from the property, she still has the keys and remotes. By doing this, I wanted to ensure we have control over the security system. I tried adding the unit back to the Ajax app, I did not leave the space, I have gotten a new phone and just installed the app again and tried to add the hub again (I found this odd, because the account was the same and expected it to load by default), but it said it belonged to another space (I had my father in-law send me the QR code). When contacting support, they gave enough information to indicate my ex-tenant took over administrative control, illegally I might add, since I never gave her administrative rights nor permission to do so or the contracted security company. The security company had a contract with the ex-tenant, not me, so if they changed it on her request, that would have been illegal as well. She/they also proceeded to remove my access completely.Since I am the owner of the system and bought it with my own money, I want to get access again. But Ajax claim they can not do it. I very much don't know if that is the case since I am a Software Engineer myself and these types of changes should be possible. Support says I have to contact the ex-tenant, well that ain't happening and now I don't have a security system on my property I can monitor or manage. I have emigrated and now I am sitting over 10000 kilometers from the property with no control what so ever and it is standing empty and is at high security risk.PS: there is no other way of factory resetting it and then restart taking ownership, according to Ajax the only way to do this is by contacting the administrator of the system. Again, this is not possible for me.I am honestly very disappointed in Ajax Systems for this. I mean, sending proof of purchase and I can provide proof I am the owner of the system, with a picture from my father in-law dated same day as when this was written with the QR code and ID or any other day they might ask it. I mean really, this is unacceptable customer support, how would I ever trust to buy a system again from a company that can not revert illegal change of user access rights and proof of ownership. Now I need to speak to my lawyers that dealt with the matter to open a case against my ex-tenant. If something has to happen on the property without security, I might need to find out what my legal case would be against ex-tenant, the security company and Ajax Systems for various infractions to the safeguarding of the property, first the illegal change in administrator as well as not being to re-instate the true owner's administrative rights to the hardware.

*** sorry - was posted on french trustpilot ***Warning to all Ajax customers. This is a very good alarm according to the reviews read here and there.I was planning to have one installed at home, but after digging into all the points, I discovered what seems to be a pebble in the shoe that is on the side for the moment but which can hurt a lot when the time comes!Indeed I would like to draw your attention to a specific point: the configuration is done only through their cloud server, if the Ajax company were to cease its activity and its cloud service closed, you will no longer be able to configure your alarm (adding detectors, changing settings, etc.) apparently. However, it will continue to work with its last known configuration.I hope that Ajax Company has a plan to free the hubs from its cloud since it just requires modifying the firmware and the iOS/Android application and giving them access to advanced features such as zine settings, adding detectors, etc.I am not denigrating the cloud aspect, but the lack of flexibility in the extreme case of the disappearance of the company.I have a Chinese alarm bought in 2016 and paid cheap (less than €250), the company no longer exists, but I can still configure it as I wish, add additional detectors if I find some in stock here and there. So the hype is probably justified because Ajax really seems like a very good alarm, but keep an eye on this point.I invite you to contact the company on this point. Maybe the Company will add this option quickly.
