Received a DNA kit as a gift. Once the results were in I logged on. Clicked on some stuff and it said I needed to have the subscription. Paid the $19.99 subscription then clicked again and it says I need another subscription for $6.99. I wasn’t sure how deep the rabbit hole goes. So I took the $20 loss and cancelled the subscription. Don’t really know the dna results either. It’s just frustrating. Feeling ripped off.
Gone downhill since I signed up in 2007. Search engine pathetic. I can’t find anybody now. I’ve had great success in the past, so don’t know what’s happened lately. I don’t like the new look either. I’m so used to the original format. By the way, not everyone lives in USA and have ancestors from there.So why do I get US places when I’m searching for UK ancestors. I put England in the search box. Now I am looking for people in Canada so hope that works.I’ve just bought a DNA kit for my husband, so hope I can find some of his ancestors. Please help.
They sent me an advertisement for a sale on DNA kits. They wouldn't honour the special and they wasted my time. A person in chat said I could get the special if I called, the person I ended up speaking with by phone would not listen and was extremely arrogant. Got to speak to his boss... she told me to call back to speak to another agent.
