ThruLines must rely more on DNA than swiping misinformation from other family trees. If you continue this method; then put a DELETE button with EVALUATE. . For fifty years I searched for a missing link which was by approved by ThruLines a month ago. My ancestry is complete back 10 generations and four centuries to1500s to Dieppe, Normandy. My researched is DONE. I am 91 yrs. I will keep my membership awhile longer so people can view my family tree and converse with descendants and co-lateral relatives. Bill AMELL
My son lost the postage paid box (fine, his fault) but when I called the 1-800 number to get the address I should mail it to, customer service agent acted like I asked her to solve world hunger. She seemed dazed and confused. She did give me the address in Ireland. I mailed it 9 weeks ago and they still haven't received it. I tried calling customer service and was on hold for 30 min so I hung up.Edit: Ancestry did reach out to me and resolved the situation. They are sending me a new kit.Edit # 2. They never sent me the kit. I called the 1-800 number and the person who answered the phone, I don't think she worked there. Once again, dazed and confused. She didn't seem to know how to answer simple questions. Finally realized they never sent replacement kit. She said "Ok I will expedite new kit. It will arrive in 7 to 10 business days". Umm, how is that expedited? Lol, next time I need answers, I think I'll have better luck calling a pizza place.
Paid extra for my kit to arrive faster(2days) as it stated but it's not coming until 6 days after I had placed the order. So much for surprising my fiancè for our 6 year anniversary. Truly diappointing. Customer service was friendly.
