Very bad business They lied to me to get me to sign up and I called within 24 hrs to cancel they claim they can’t cancel Now every time I call to try to get it canceled they give me a go around and do nothing Most leads are NOT legit and the ones that are legit most are not ready to go I’ve been in business over 34 years it’s the worst I’ve ever seen FO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL LIKLEY GO BROKE THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY (IF YOU NOTICE THET RESPONDED BELOW NOW -we are happy to see how we can help get more leads)FOLKS!!!!!ThIS is how they operate they absolutely refuse to cancel account because they lied to me to get me to sign up and all they do when I call is lie again and say the leads are valid even if they are not and they change the location ad a few more zip codes or such FO NOT TRUST THIS UNTRUSTWORTHY SCSM CALLED ANGI KEADS YOU CAN SEE FIRST HAND IN THEIR RESPONSE HIW LITTLE THEY CARE
This is the worst company ever do not and I mean, do not sign a contract with them your membership, which you are not you will be charged. They want you to pay $350 a month for leads that you’re not even receiving cause customers nowadays think that you clean houses for free this company is a scam some of the ways that they explain to you that you will make money will not happen. Do not allow this company to ruin your business. I paid the fees for 350 a month for two months I received three jobs totaling under $200 in two months. This company is a scam.
The person never showed up. No notice. No explanation. No refund. Nothing. Money down the drain. Booking ID #26300688When I tried to fix it with them, the only communication option was via chat. They had a 60 minute estimated wait time for chat! The next day the wait time was less and I did start a chat. The representative helping me said he/she needed a few minutes to finalize the fix. After 5 minutes the chat disconnected due to inactivity! Their inactivity. I was still waiting. Just like they left us waiting on the day of service
DO NOT RECOMMEND this platform. Most of the leads I received were fake, non-responsive people, or scammers trying to get information and waste my time. On top of that, if you want to cancel the membership they impose an extremely high penalty. This platform just makes you spend money without real results. My experience was very negative and I strongly advise other contractors to stay away.
Called Step by Step for air conditioning cleaning and tune-up. Appointment was made within a couple of days. Eric arrived on time, he was friendly and informative about the work to be done. Completed work in a timely manner, had suggestions for things that would help the life of the system. Most important, he was a technician who knew his trade. Not a salesman trying to make a sale. Would recommend Step by Step for anyone looking for quality work. Five Stars
WORST COMPANY!!!!Bought an electronic bed for father with cervical spine fracture. Appointment was made and confirmed with Angi to assemble the bed on 11.22.25. The person no showed. Rescheduled for 11.23.25 at 4pm. Nobody showed. Rescheduled for 11.25.25 at 1pm. I called and confirmed appointment and the person no showed. What Angie doesn't tell you is that they schedule appointments, send you a confirmation but that doesn't mean they have someone to do the job or will assure you that the job will be completed. The last conversation Angie said they would make an appointment for 11.29.25.ABSOLUTELY UNNACEPTABLE!!!
We had a leaking toilet, no drips on floor but leaking back into toilet! We called Angi and got in touch with A-Affordable Plumbing. Angelo was in the next town, said he would be there in 30 minutes. Repair was done in 30 minutes. Gasket in shut off valve had deteriorated. It was replaced along with a new supply line! Delightful man! Thank you Angi! We are very pleased with Angelo Albanese and A-Affordable Plumbing. Will use him for any future plumbing needs! 5 star!
JC Professional Tree Svc LLC. provide excellent service. They removed the tree the same day of my estimate. The team was fast, efficient, very professional and their price was reasonable. even with the tree being in a difficult area.Great service.
We signed up with Angi’s list, they had all these guarantees that we’d get min of 13 leads per month, we got maybe a quarter of that! They told us if they didn’t hold up to their guarantee, we’d get our money back and be out of the contract. “Trust them” they said.. what a joke!! They are liars and scammers! Stay FAR away from this company!!
