Adam did a fantastic job. He got the work done quick and efficiently; although, he ran into a few hiccups along the way. He kept me well informed on what the next steps would be. He had wonderful communication skills!! I would definitely use this company for any future issues I had, and I would recommend this company to anyone who needed any kind of work done!!
I booked their tv mounting service through Costco and some teenagers came in with no stud finder and drilled 6 holes in my apartment wall and couldn’t get it up. One of the two teenagers left 10 minutes in and I had to help. If I wasn’t there he would’ve broken my 80 inch tv. Their customer service is horrible and demanded I bring someone out to give me an estimate only, then I send them the estimate, then wait for their approval. I still haven’t even received a refund for their services. Their customer service is an absolute joke, their vetting process is a bigger joke. A better company will definitely take over this space soon. Update after their response: sure they’ll respond here but not to my emails complaining. I can’t be more sarcastic when I say amazing service.
If there is a problem with your contractor, Angi will not help. They will pretend to help but no actual resolution can occur. They have truly horrible independent contractors they allow to list on their site. It is a very long story but I was completely swindled by one and Angi would not help me in any way. I spent $22,000 and six months of my life waiting for the contractor to put the gutters back on my house. When he did, he did it wrong and Angi will not help me get the gutters hung correctly or anything. When the contractor knocked out chunks of wood from my frames, Angi did nothing. When the contractor kept leaving the water on everyday even when asked repeatedly to stop, Angi did nothing. When the contractor left nails and screws all over my and my neighbor's driveway and my neighbor got so mad I got a knife pulled on me, Angi did nothing. In fact, they will not even believe you and patronize you for your emails and pleas for help. This was the first and last time I will ever use this service. I truly hope they go out of business soon so they can't act as a shell for shoddy contractors and do absolutely nothing to help the people who used their service.

Angi's list has Roofing Guyz as one of their recommended contractors. I used them and the roofing has been an issues. First they wanted paid in cash so they could pay Jose and his crew. i have issues with shingles raising and now a leak at a ski light which they said had to have the wood and stuff replaces for extra dollars. there is a leak. i have contacted the company and Nicholas George repeatedly and not response. Angie endorsed which tells me if a company pays a fee Angnie's list will advertise and endorse. I am at the point of taking legal action against this company for failure to honor warranty and failure to respond. I submitted a complaint earlier to Angie's customer service website and no response.

On 02.10.2024, I called Shamrock Chimney and told them that the caps they installed were moving out of place on top of the chimney, and they might fall off. I told Shamrock's representative that I was fearful that the caps could fall, damaging my roof and cars, or injuring someone walking on the walkway below. Shamrock told me that someone would be out, however no one came out. After 2 months with no response from Shamrock, on 04. 04.2024, I called them again and told them that one of my chimney caps had fallen off of the roof and landed on the side door entrance to my house. Shamrock told me that someone from their company would be out to reinstall the cap, but no one came out. On 04.10.2024, I called Shamrock again and requested to speak to the owner; I was told that he would call me the next day, however he never called. On 04.16.2024, I hired a reputable contractor to assess the work done by Shamrock. They informed me that the 2 caps installed by Shamrock were the incorrect caps for my chimney, and they were installed incorrectly; Shamrock's worker physically bent the top of one of the caps, because it didn't fit next to the second cap, so there was no room to insert and fasten 2 screws designed to hold the 2 caps securely in place, resulting in the cap falling off of the chimney. A reputable company subsequently installed the correct single cap specified for my chimney ($610.00}. They also told me that it did not appear that Shamrock had recemented loose brick as they said they had done. Subsequently, I contacted the MA Attorney General's Office, who put me in touch with a Consumer Advocate to help resolve my issue with Shamrock Chimney. On 08.13.2024, the consumer advocate texted me that "Our customer assistance requires the cooperation of the business, and the owner of Shamrock Chimney is uncooperative; therefore, we are unable to proceed. " The consumer advocate advised filing a lawsuit against Shamrock Chimney and provided me with the addresses that the Court could send the subpoena to. I filed a lawsuit in Attleboro District Court against the owner of Shamrock Chimney, and weeks later I received a notice that the subpoena was undeliverable. As long as Shamrock is using addresses that are undeliverable to, they cannot be served a subpoena that compels them to come to court.
