They have rescheduled my service 5times and now they are saying it's not a lot of contractors in my area. Well, why did you take my money. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company this my first time using Angi and it will probably be my last. They give no curtesy call about the cancellations. I truly am starting to believe they don't care.
I purchased a TV wall mount service through Walmart. If I could give a 0 star review I would. I was supposed to receive an email about scheduling a booking...instead they unilaterally scheduled the service without first consulting me to make sure I was home. I never got an email about that and if I hadn't call to figure out how I schedule the service myself I never would've known that it had been scheduled. Then I'm sitting around waiting for someone to show up...never showed up. I call again, and I was told that it had been rescheduled - again without consulting me. No email, no phone, ZERO communication. Strangely, when I call and advise that I will sit at my computer and wait for their emails those arrive without issue. Just find a handyman in your area. At the end of the day that's all they're doing and paying them a fraction of what you're being charged.
Read the reviews at the BBB! Take your money somewhere else. If you want to throw money away, then you are at the right place. I've had zero success with the leads. Bogus names with Bogus addresses, people looking for jobs, hang ups and all you have is a temporary number that they give you. If you complain about the leads, they tell you that the customers are verified. And if you want to cancel your contract, its 35% of the remaining amount and they automatically renew it with a price increase every 12 months. Beware if you are looking for service here. Go somewhere else.

My experience with Angi was awful. I hired a contractor through their site to repair my washer. He was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday but didn’t show up until 8:30 p.m. I still let him in, hoping he’d get the job done. He fiddled with the washer for a while, said he’d come back the next day, and never did. When I called on Saturday, he claimed he’d been in a car accident — it didn’t sound believable. He disappeared after that and kept the money.I contacted Angi to complain, but they only refunded half my payment and reassigned another repairman. The new contractor told me to just sell the washer for parts because the repair would cost too much. So I lost money, time, and trust in the service. I’ll never use Angi again—they protect bad contractors more than customers.
We have been an ANGI pro contractor since 2020 and went through this process to submit a review to warn other PROS about ANGI. This program is boarder line fraud! Be careful, they will auto debit your account, send you bad leads with no credit or replacement lead opportunity. This has been going on since 2020 because they auto renew fraudulently. This time they ain't getting away with it!
