Review Time
I never even became a customer and I still had a bad enough experience to post about it here. I created an Angi Pro profile just to explore the platform. I only put in the bare minimum of details just so I could have a look around. The login and setup experiences are so glitchy that I didn’t feel like my personal info would be safe so I never finished setting up my account and promptly forgot about it. A few weeks later I started getting calls almost every day, sometimes twice a day from some rep who would leave their name but no details, so I know its a sales call, probably to try and sell me their scammy lead packages. It should be obvious from my profile that I am not running my business off Angi and never even used my account. Every time I block the number they call from they just use another number! This has been going on for weeks. I would have expected someone from customer support to call me first with something like “hey we noticed you never finished setup is there anything we can help you with?” before trying to take my money. I’m shocked at how aggressive they’ve been. I've tried to delete my account, but thats not something you can do online you have to call customer support, which I’ve done several times and have not been able to reach a live rep, I've tried several different numbers too. Even the phone tree tries to funnel you to someone who will sell you ads and will hang up on you if that’s not why you’re calling! I had only been lightly considering using the platform but I definitely won’t now and can’t recommend this service either. They REALLY want to take your money but don’t care about you at all. Absolute trash customer experience.
Sent me an inexperienced couple for caulking around my windows. About tore out entire window area on one side. Spent a whole day getting supplies. I asked why 2 people. They were from New York and wanted to sightsee here in Ky. I told them go on home now. The man argued a lot. I called customer service I wanted compensation to hire someone else to fix what they messed up. Never heard a word This reply not helping now. Good grief. I wasted hours calling writing nothing happened til now. I’ll be put on hold transferred here and there. Saying they call back or that’s not our department They get no more id my time.
DISGRACEFUL SERVICE!!! On the assembly end and customer service end. Our service was canceled not once BUT TWICE!!!! I wasted 2 FULL DAYS waiting for them to show up and got canceled 30 minutes before they were scheduled to be there and 30 minutes AFTER they were scheduled to be there!!! I called customer service to figure out why and they knew NOTHING. Just saying nonsense to get me to shut up and accept the refund and hang up. I informed this guy of my experience after he tried to tell me what happened (which the details of what he was saying was pitifully wrong) and all he had to say was “oh……. Sorry” are you kidding??? I wanna know why my service was canceled!!!! Come to find out that another customer had an emergency so they had to go there instead. WHAT? So what about the service I paid for and wasted my whole day on? There’s no other tech? That’s not my problem I WAS a paying customer as well does that not matter?? NOT TO ANGI! DO NOT BUY THEIR SERVICE ITS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORSE!!! Never buying again and telling all my friends and family not to either
Absolutely awful experience. Contractor I picked did a bad job and working with Angi has been a horrible experience. They are so slow to answer, I can’t actually talk with a costumer resolution person on the phone and they stated they would take the contractor off the platform and never did. They have been ignoring me and now I will unfortunately have to file a formal case with the State Attorney General’s Office (Consumer Protection Division). I will never use them again, truly, run away. Not worth it. They will respond to this review saying for me to reach out or call. I have…multiple times. Have spoken to multiple people. No actual action. No accountability. Absolutely astonishing how this “business” exists.
