Very poor service at our branch. Watched Receptionist ignore phone ringing while she was doing something on computer. Despite requesting medication, it's usually more than a week until its ready or they fail to tell you they have non in stock and when you enquire if medication is ready they then tell you know but if I travel 15 mile to another branch they have some. Constantly asking for correct receipt to be emailed so ican forward on to insurance, just emailing me a cost receipt without name of pet or what I'm paying for isn't going to be enough for insurance. Not happy at all with this branch, mainly its the Reception team at fault. They don't seem to do a lot and obviously don't want to answer the phone if they have something more important to do that obviously can't wait the time of a phone call. I ordered online as advised to do with prescriptions but then Reception can't find my orders. Don't know what is going wrong with this Reception team but I'm always chasing things up and never had all this chaos at my previous vets. They seem to make a simple job very hard and I feel I'm always badgering them.
Amazing staff and treatment for my puppy. Went in as an emergency, parvo diagnosed. Admitted for 5 days, they called me twice daily with updates on his progress and costs. A lovely lady called Danielle even sent me a video of him as I was unable to visit him. They never gave up on him even when things got really bad and for that I am extremely grateful.
My usual vet quoted a price for my 13 year old dogs surgery that was unfortunately completely unaffordable. I contacted the Animal Trust in a panic. The price they quoted for the emergency surgery was almost 1/4 of the price of my usual vet and they took my dog in that day. The staff were so friendly and caring, kept me updated and took wonderful care of my dog. I couldn't be more delighted with the service
Animal Trust ShrewsburyIf I could use a word better than exceptional I would use it, absolutely fantastic from start to finish and I cannot thank you enough. Amazing staff who explained everything thoroughly to me so I could understand.Thank you for taking Bruno Mizuno’s (Black / White Staffy) lump off his tail, And thank you to the manager and staff at Pets Choice also in Telford, we are so grateful.Lots of love to you all,Joe Bradley / Jane Denny & Bruno Mizuno 🙈😂
It is true that they do not pick up the phone. I visited the veterinarian and saw two people in the waiting area. I waited for them for more than thirty minutes and called them twenty times, but each time they just ignored my call. I am not sure what is wrong with them. i have no problem with anything else , but this is a farce ,a vets that dont pick up the phone !!!
Fake charity, please I beg do not use dogs trust Wrexham, they hide behind a charity but are just a not educated to be a human doctor so choose to be a veterinarian so they can extract as much moneyas possible to make so much money and do not care about animals
Terrible. Bolton branch. I have been a customer for quite some years with 2 different pets. They have gone downhill. I recently took my cat in after he wasn’t eating and was lethargic and wouldn’t let me touch him. I advised vet he also had a lump on his neck. They tried to fob me off with buying metacam and some meds to give him an appetite which was not sorting the problem at all it was covering it up, he clearly needed some examinations. My option was 1) take him home with random medications 2) pay £695 to have him hospitalised and checked out. No inbetween. I chose the latter, in my opinion there was no other option given. Whilst he was hospitalised I was met with excuse after excuse from 1 particular vet as to why they hadn’t done things they were supposed to do which I’d paid for I might add! There was no morning update phone call as promised, so I arranged to go and see my cat in branch later that day. He looked an absolute mess when I arrived and I asked what had been done. Drugged up to his eyeballs. The vet was so dismissive and I was met with all the excuses, being short staffed is not my problem as a paying customer I expect a service that I paid for and proper care for my cat. If you can’t deliver don’t take animals in your care. I asked the vet have you checked that lump on his neck, she denied the lump! I literally had to argue with this vet about it and demand it got checked. A lovely vet called the next day from the morning shift and turns out it was an abscess that she had since drained and put him on intravenous antibiotics. I dread to think what would have happened had I of not gone up there and pushed and demanded! I would say he had the start of sepsis as he had raised temperature, infection (shown in bloods), no appetite and no other findings from their scans. Absolutely disgusting that she would not listen and check. They also cut his beautiful whiskers very short for absolutely no reason, they could have moved them out the way so easily. I am disgusted with the way they have also treated my concerns. So disappointed and currently trying to nurse my poor boy back to health at home. Fobbed off when raising concerns after. Do better Animal Trust.
It's 1 star because I can't give 0. Utter failure with my dog Oliver, he fell off a picnic bench, hit the seat on his way to the ground. I took him to Animal Trust Shrewsbury who point blank refused any treatment because I couldn't pay on the day, eventually bloods done which showed evidence of internal haemorrhage, no investigative work done, antibiotics prescribed. Practice manager refused to accept their failure, refused to accept that Animal Trust is a money before health company. Even when Oliver went for his last sleep, this lot demanded the bill be paid in full or Oliver wouldn't go to the crematorium. Heartless, callous, unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Mostly terrible! Almost Impossible to get an appointment. Hugely inflated prices & rude staff. Ask for your pets notes. Mine had personal comments about me & also noted that I had mentioned once that ‘it didn’t matter what the cost was’ which is very telling and reflects their money-grabbing attitude
Took dog as small bald patch on tail. Vet struggled with English. She shaved his tail said it looks like trauma. After shaving tail seeing it wasn’t I said it could be a form of mite. She said what’s a mite!!! I looked confused. She said how do you spell it. I said M I T E. She searched it on Google and brought up pictures and said Ahhh. Then prescribed me a flea treatment! FFS.Apart from the comedy show above my dog looks like a right plonker now for nothing and the bald patch is still there!!!
