Awful experience at Failsworth

Awful experience at Failsworth. I was told the wrong price and expected to pay £150 more out of the blue for tests that yielded no result! £230 in total. Then I was sent another charge by text for tablets but my dog was never given any. I called about the charge and nobody called me back. Then the vet called re the above test results and wants to do more tests that may yeild no result either to the tune of £700 and he told me he had prescribed tablets and to call reception again but I’ve given up. I’ll be cancelling the payments and go elsewhere. Feel like I’ve been ripped off and the medication my dog was in need of was obviously no concern for these rip off merchants.

Avoid the Birkenhead branch!

Avoid the Birkenhead branch! The clinical staff are lovely & helpful. If you can actually get to see them that is!The old, blond, female receptionist is rude, patronising and as unhelpful as possible. The practise manager Hannah is just as bad, so clearly a poor culture in this branch, with Hannah ensuring all staff treat paying customer as rudely and poorly as possible!

Can I just take a minute to thank all the vets and nurses that saved my Mia at Bolton animal trust. No amount of praise is enough for what you did. From the bottom of my heart I appreciate and thank you so much. I was kept updated at every step of the way. She is now at home recovering

Absolutely brilliant service from the first phone call.Booked both my dogs in for a dental £395 each including anaesthetic and any extractions required .Vets in Rotherham quoted £870 each plus extra for any extractions. All treatments carried out with care and compassion staff were brilliant and we were kept informed all the way .No extra charges for anything , will definitely be using again and will recommend to anyone looking for a honest reliable vet. Many thanks to all at Barnsley branch.

If I was any pet lover I'd give this place a miss and do not recommend it to anyone for proof go and have a look at the reviews on trust pilot.Took my dog here today with acid reflux and just looking for a bit of help and adviceThe bit of a kid vet decided to inform me that it's best having an xray package worth £495 because it could be tumour now imagine going the GP and being told that without tests so after I decided to think about it the attitude of the vet became extremely downbeat as if she'd just lost her pet...this place is solely money orientated and no care for our pets unless you hand over cashEllesmere port branch

Animal Trust Blackburn

Been with Animal Trust Blackburn for several years, however, the past year I’ve experienced their customer service take a massive downturn . The receptionists are incompetent as well as other admin staff . Booked appointments with specific vet and end up seeing a veterinary nurse .. who can’t undertake the procedures my dogs need doing and paying full fees . As for the practice manager ..well can’t put into words his poor management skills and lack of communication. Have changed to another Veterinary Practice and so glad I did . They are professional .. it’s worth paying more knowing my dogs are receiving the best care.

Animal Trust

Animal Trust - Birkenhead. Absolutely woeful, after receiving a email advising me to contact the vets to get a further prescription for my dogs prednisolone I contacted the vet to arrange this ….. I was met with the worst customer service I have ever received. At first I spoke to a very unhelpful lady named Sam. I had called the vet in 4 days advance to book an appointment, I was met with we don’t have anything within the next 12 days. I told the CS rep that the dog would run out of medication by that point and his medication can’t just be stopped, I was basically given the theres nothing we can do when I asked for advice and help. I asked repeatedly if there is a vet that I can speak to too see if I can get a couple of days supply to see me though until I can get him in for the appointment …. Straight NO there’s nothing we can do! After a fight I was finally put though to another persons ( possibly a supervisor) named Imogen ….. Equally unhelpful. Imogen advised me that there are 0 appointments and even went far enough to say I couldn’t book in 4 days in advance as they where unsure that they where even going to open on that day, as they hadn’t been assigned a vet (never in my life have I heard anything so stupid) Apparently they get assigned a vet on the day and not before?I find this hard to believe. I said to Imogen that I’ll even bring my dog and wait outside on the day it opens ? This was also knocked back as she didn’t want to help me at this point. She told me I could stand outside and call if I wanted but I couldn’t walk in and speak to the person face to face who I’d be phoning ? How can a place even operate like this ? Then all of a sudden the appointments started to magically appear, I was offered appointments within a few hours when I had already told Imogen I was working and couldn’t get there at short notice. I feel like this was done to anger me further….These two did their absolute best not to help me there was no thought about what I’m going to do once I run out of medication, zero advice given & zero empathy from both. Disgusting place … these two clearly don't care about the animals. Conflicting information from both people that are supposed to be there to help and provide a service.I wouldn’t mind if I had NOT received an email from animaltrust advising me to contact them for a prescription. I would have contacted weeks in advance to book an appointment. I love animals but I can’t see myself ever donating to this charity again ….. I’ve now got to find an alternative way of getting my dog’s medication or risk him getting seriously sick. 👎🏼Comical that the company’s web page has “Providing the best access to good vet care “ On its web page. Quite the opposite 👎🏼Not even worthy for 1*

Failsworth Animal Trust - Unable to book an appointment

I need to book a medication review for my pet, tried to do this online but it kept telling me to use the chat option to check if the vet can issue a prescription without an appointment however there is no chat option and no appointments available to book. Tried ringing up but the phones just ring out. Honestly Im pretty sure the number of people sat at reception always chatting are just ignoring the phone. Unable to book an appt via whatsapp or email...very frustrating!!

This vets don't deserve a 1 star the…

This vets don't deserve a 1 star the wrost vets we have ever been toAnybody that uses animal trust, please change vets. They say they are a non-profit company, but that's a lie. They charge double or even more than any other vets. So, if it's a non-profit company, then it should be cheaper, not more expensive. They say they don't charge you a consultations fee, but that's a lie also, as they put it on to the treatment and medication to make you think they are not charging you. They don't care about the health of the pet and give out bad and wrong advice. Please avoid this company because they rip you off. I got told by the vet that it's a business, so they need to make money. If that's the case, they need to change their sign because it's not a non-profit company at all, so they shouldn't be advertising it as that; it's wrong. No wonder there are so many animals in rescues because of how much the vets charge. It's all the vet's fault that people are having to give up their pets. They should put the animal first, not money. I ended up taking my dog to another vet and they was absolutely disgusted how much these vets charge its more then double and they can't believe how the vet can give us the wrong advice and put our pets in danger

Caring service…

I have always received prompt and professional service from Animal Trust Dewsbury. My dog had a nasty injury recently which wasn’t dealt with appropriately by the emergency vet and resulted in making the job harder for Animak trust vet to manage and prolonged the discomfort of the animal.Animal Trust vet John Riley took so much care and attention to keep our dog safe and we trusted his expertise implicitly.I would always recommend and the costs are kept as low as possible as opposed to other vets.
