If I could give 0 stars I would.Im sure this isn't how a CIC should operate. On our first appointment we were left waiting over 45 minutes. When we approached the staff we were told that we would have to wait another 15 minutes even though they had forgotten we were there. We spoke to manager who said this was unacceptable and apologised. We gave the animal trust the benefit of the doubt and made another pre op appointment for our 2 dogs. The person who undertook the appointment did not fill us with confidence about the care our dogs would receive while in for their operations we cancelled the operation.Following 2 bad experiences with the animal trust we cancelled our direct debit and returned to our previous Vet.On 31st July we received an invoice for the outstanding balance which was due for payment.By the 6th of August we had received 5 emails demanding payment and 1 postal letter demanding payment and threatening the use of Bailiffs. All within 6 Days.CIC stands for Community Interest Company, they are formed for the benefit for the local community.Looks like they have forgotten their basic values.
Took my princess today as she sadly passed away in the night 3am Sunday. We usually use Failsworth who have been great. Bolton today where very understanding. My best friend was gone but they took their time, nothing rushed. They advised about our options and we went for private cremation. We get her back in a nice casket and her name engraved for £200. Much cheaper than other places.Thank you Animal trust. R.I.P Tilly. ❤️
Problems joining the pet plan, animal trust staff were very helpful and established it was due to an error while using iPhone or iPads. Animal trust kept me informed all the way through the issue. I am now a pet plan member for my two doggies. The vet and front staff at Telford practice were fabulous. I’m so pleased with my choice to join them. The prices are more affordable than other veterinary practices too. 👍
This has been brilliant. But today I recieved an email to say my plan is changing on the 1st of August. It is increasing by £5 a month. This may not seem a lot but I have multiple pets on the plan so my increase isn't just by £5 a month. It is multiple £5. It is possible there us something in the terms and conditions that allows them to change this without consulting but to me it seems very unfair. I have 5 cats 🐈
I have just been for a appointment with Braden at Bolton he was very helpful once again and explained things about buddy's second operation and put my mind at rest thanks Brandon also to sam who is always very helpful many thanks christine Hughes and buddy the dog 🐕🐾
This company advertises itself as a non profit organisation, I beg to differ. I took my little dog for a consultation for a wart on the underside of the bottom of his eyelid. Long story short I was told the small surgery would be an eye watering £519! I was given a tiny tube ( and I mean tiny ) of cream to sooth his eye. I was charged £39! Now I understand a company must make a some profit but there is profit and there is extortion. I found the cream on the internet for £9.65. My dog has now been relieved of his wart by local vet at a cost of £199. Disgraceful in my opinion.
What a great service from start to finish, I rang with my concerns first thing in the morning, the lady I spoke with was very caring and gave me some really good advice, I felt like my dog needed to be seen so they booked her in, she needed an emergency operation so they advised I went to their other branch, they booked me in straight away and did the operation, I am very thankful for what they did for my dog! They are obviously really busy, I felt as though they put my dog first and treated us with care and kindness, thank you!
Avoid took our Saint Bernard puppy 6 months old as she had cherry eye in both eyes We were told it would be £695 to do both eyes so she was booked inShe had the procedure and we collected her along with the medication Less than 36 hours after having the procedure 1 of the cherry eye has come out even worse than it was originally we called animal trust Shrewsbury and was told a vet would call us back I sent photos We got a call later that day but only to see how Luna was and hadn’t been informed and was told I would get a call back on Monday Having made several calls I got another call back to be told she would need to have the surgery again at a cost of £495 as there was a 15-20% chance it would come back Not after 36 hours So we could keep paying at it might not workTotal rip off merchants Not in it for profit That’s utter rubbish
