Our indoor cat went missing for 24…

Our indoor cat went missing for 24 hours, when found took her in for a routine check up, but we're asked to have her admitted so they can carry out xrays and scans, had to travel to Bolton to admit her, we were charged a whopping £500+. Had leave her there under there care, within 2 hours we go to go back to collect her just to find out that everything was fine, we were given medicine to give to our cat, which we happily agreed to. Before we left the hospital we asked if there was any ither payment that need to be made before we leave with our cat, we were told by the nurse that all included and there was nothing else tonoay for even though we asked if we have to pay for the medicine and we were told that all was included, so we left with our pet to go home. 4 / 6 weeks later we got an email and letter through post saying there was an outstanding bill of £40.00 for the medicine, so I just got on to the phone to take to them I explained everything to them and had personally asked for the manager so I can talk to him, but was told he was in a meeting and they would leave a message for him to contact me as few days went by I rang again and was told that the manager is aware and will be contacting you, so I waited, weeks went by and still not heard from manager, we received aetter stating that our overdue balance had referred to a bailiff company, so I got onto the phone again to Animal trust asking why have I received a letter from a collection company, whilst I'm still waiting for manager to contact me. I was told the manager will contact you. 3 days later manager did contact me I explained everything again and was told that we had to still pay, I explained that before left with our pet from the hospital, we asked if there was anything extra we need to pay and we were told no everything was included in the medical package and the medicine. We got a second opinion from another vet and we were told that she went missing for 24 hours, when found our pet was just terrified and a normal routine check up should have been done, there was no need to pay £500 + as our pet was walking fine, eating fine, doing everything as normal but just was a bit quiet than usual. The matter regarding the £40.00 for the medicine is still ongoing it's been nearly 6 months now. The same medicine online can be purchased for less than half the price. And animal trust tell customers that they are the cheapest. I wonder how many pet owners have been over charged and bullied Into buying a medical package, they literally tell you that your pet is in Danger if you do not do these medical package. So we can caryy out our checks,, We just love our pet we would do anything for them. Due to our own health issues I can not work and we not well off either but we manage. It's companies like these that rip off customers out of hundreds and thousands of pounds everyday. What do you think shall I pay the..tbe £40.00 or stick to my principal. Ease let me know. We've moved from animall trust they can't be trusted.

Avoid Animal Trust At All Cost

Wish I could give Animal Trust a zero. Please avoid at all costs. They are purely a business interested in making money at the expense of animals and their owners. I am now left with immense heartache for the rest of my life after the way they treated my companion animal and myself.

Would never use there service again.

I took my little dog in today shocking service. I was told my dog had to be put to sleep. When I said I was going to pick my children up to say there goodbyes as she's part off our family. The vet said that there not a baby sitting service appalling at a very distressing time. Would not go back here after being a customer for many years.

Initial service good

Initial service good, however they need to get their house in order. We paid up in full at time of treatment, then they're asking for a further amount months later with threat of debt collection. This was the FIRST notification of this amount. WATCH them!

Avoid …

There is very poor administrative practice operating at the clinic. This puts the animals at huge risk.Standard, repeat medications are not available, they fail to complete insurance forms in a timely manner, their reception staff appear to have very little training & are unable to prioritise cases that need urgent care

Poor receptionist

Have to agree with what a lot of others have said about the receptionist (my experience is at Dewsbury) tried for 2 x days solid to call worried about my dog, no answer continually, despite it ringing for 13 minutes on the last occasion I tried, I decided to drive across as I was getting desperately worried. On arrival, I was given an appt but for 3 hours later at which point I explained by now it was an emergency as I had been calling constantly for 2 x days and nobody picked up - to which I got the reply 'well you didn't need to come! you could have just emailed!' - this is in response to a lethargic dog that had been vomiting and passing blood for 4 x days. Zero compassion and a really rude attitude. Why would someone send an email in an emergency and on a Friday too. Really uncalled for and poor. The vet in the end was incredible and another receptionist who served me afterwards was lovely so I think its one or two who completely let this practice down.

Thank you to pets choice in Telford who are changing to animal trust, they recognised my dog Ernie the cockapoo was super poorly. They, Advised I went to Shrewsbury for ongoing care at animal trust, they saved Ernie’s life with prompt surgery a massive thank you to Becky the vet who managed to against all odds save Ernie. Very worrying time, it was touch and go they gave regular update's morning an night, the night Vet who looked after for 4 nights showed compassion on her updates. The reception to the veterinary nurses a vets who gave Ernie love, care an fuss we cannot thank you enough. You really did go the extra mile. They made the claim process easy too, so we did not need to have any added stress. Ernie is now home an doing amazing, as they worded a miracle dog! 🌟

Ellesmere Port- absolutely shocking…

Ellesmere Port- absolutely shocking beyond words the treatment my dog received here, if it wasn’t for me refusing to allow her to stay there any longer she would have ended up dead Easter bank holiday Monday our 12 month old frenchbulldog was admitted hadn’t eaten in 48 hrs hadn’t drank in 24hrs Being sick, blood diarrhea, very lethargic, non responsive Initial cost was £495 plus £75 bank holiday fee (no problem)she was kept in over night for observation fluids and antibiotics as an infection was found on her intestines. Tuesday morning- no better/no worse- removed from antibiotics as not needed(she’d been on them only 12hours) Tuesday afternoon phone call - we need to send more bloods and poo sample to an outside lab extra £400 Wednesday morning 7:45am phone call . No worse/no better we need to keep her for another night (£345) Went to visit our puppy completely off her face on medication, still being sick, still not eating still not drinking (she was now fitted with a feeding tube) Vet didn’t come to see us, wouldn’t come to see us, kept relying messages to her nurse to pass to us Still no diagnosis, still no explanation on there plan still no list of the medication she was on,Just kept getting told it’s a process these things take time Evening update- no worse/no better Thursday morning 9:15am update No worse/No better still being sick, still having severe diarrhoea we’ll need to keep her another night can you pay the night fee £345…. NO NO NO you won’t I want my dog and I want her home No improvement No diagnosis No list of medication And explain to me how they know at 9AM my dog is going to make NO improvement by 9PM and they already now she needs to stay in another day???? I got the diagnosis, list of medication in this phone call Aswell as being told my dog is very sick and will more than likely need to be re admitted because I couldn’t give the medication she needed at home so she’ll be sent home with her feeding tube still in 😳 left with £200 of medication (all of which is in actual fact NOT needed and is in the bin) My dog was taken straight from this dump to another vet In ONE HOUR and 20MINS my dog had been assessed, operated on and was in recovery The reason she was still being sick even after they were pumping her full of two different anti sickness drugs was because you were overdosing her on extremely high opiate’s, the same reason she wouldn’t eat!! 24 hours after being treated by another vets she’s eating, drinking and home ;in fact she was actually eating 6 hours after she left your dump and was home 10 hours after going to the other vets with a vet bill of LESS than what you charge for a 1 night stay Not ONE phone call from yous to see if she’s even alive let alone ok- for all you know she could be dead if it was left to you she would be who removes treatment of antibiotics when an infection is clearly noted in blood samples You swooped her antibiotics for unnecessary extremely high doses of opiates My dog didn’t need to be overdosed for 3 days on extremely strong opiate’s/ double dosed on anti sickness medication, feeding tubesWhat she needed was antibiotics something she was only given for 12 hours and I was told on numerous occasions she didn’t need!!! Every single Vet that looked at/treated my dog from Tuesday morning onwards will be held accountable for stress/worry and financial lose you’ve caused my family and my dog £1900 in 3 days all completely un needed! Purposely drugging my dog for your own financial gain This review is just the beginning I have already emailed my complaint and my solicitor is also sending yourselves and your CEO my letter. Thankfully for me not taking your lame excuses any longer my dog will make a full recovery You need closing down and I will make it my mission to ensure this happens I am not the 1st person you’ve done this too only sadly some of there animals diedI will not go away and nor will I stop until someone takes responsibility for this!!
