Animal Trust vets, Safe Haven for our pets!

Once again I'm extolling the virtues of this amazing vets! I always dreaded our Ginger Tom would one day get old and unwell, but the burden has been substantially eased by the care and dedication of the vets, reception and those staff working behind the scenes, processing my insurance claims. For a cat of 16 plus years, Kiki is doing well, and it's great to have a vets called Animal Trust, who live up to their name!On my visit today, Janine on reception( hope I spelt it correctly?) Was so amenable, spending lots of time to administer to my needs, making the whole process very easy. Well done Janine! The full car park( I always manage to find a space😊) is testament to the quality treatment and general service they provide.I need not look elsewhere for vet care. Once again you've come up trumps, I'm very happy with the care Kiki has received. Thankyou, you're all brill!!!

Almost impossible to get them on the phone meds over expensive admin very poor . After TTA op my dog was sent home we noticed the wound was leaking and smelly we immediately contacted them explaining the condition and was given a short and uncaring response that it should be OK we insisted that the dog should be looked at and told them we would be bringing her back that day and insisted she see a senior vet it was found she had picked up a very bad infection which took over 10 agonising weeks of home nursing and many visits to the vet.

Very unprofessional service from Animal…

Very unprofessional service from Animal Trust Wrexham. My dog was admitted for a dental procedure. They had his full medical history and if they had read it they would have seen he has a history of hypocalcaemia. They ran bloods on him prior to the GA which showed calcium as borderline low/normal. Knowing this they sent him home without informing me of his calcium levels. That evening he almost died as his calcium levels continued to decrease further. He had a complete seizure, full muscle tetany and had to be admitted to an emergency vet for IV calcium. He is still very poorly. This practice promise to ring within seven days of surgery to follow up on the animal’s welfare. They never called. When I rang to ask for my boys blood results I informed them how ill he was since his dental procedure but was met with nothing more than the words “oh I see”.I wrote a review on Google reviews but Animal Trust have seen to it that it was removed. Pet owners beware.

Couldn’t care less.

We rang on a Sunday afternoon when our much loved dog was in pain and suffering. We expected help and emergency care as our dog was already undergoing treatment, we’d been customers for years. We were told that the Shrewsbury depot was about to close, and we should contact a local vet. Sadly our lovely old friend died. Don’t rely on these people, choose a local vets who care and will be there when you need them.

Dubious about not for profit in practice

£19.50 for a 10 minute nailclip works out £117 an hour - please explain how this is a "not for profit" vet? Most people consider a not for profit to be carefully priced, particularly situated next to a poorer area. It's of no interest to poorer people as to how you manage the money when the end price to poorer people (when you consider taxis on top) doesn't work out any cheaper than some other vets. I notice others are complaining on here too about pricing. Thank you.

TPLO Surgery Bolton Branch- My German…

Update: As I was warned what could happen, it actually did! her 2nd Crucial Ligament ruptured on the right leg. Vlad completed the operation for her again, No Issues, Recovery fantastic. 6 weeks on and my girl is walking without pain or limp. Thanks for giving her her life back. TPLO Surgery Bolton Branch- My German Shepherd completed ruptured her Crucial Ligament in her hind leg. I cant thank Vlad the Vet Surgeon and the Vet Nurses enough. Dropped Lottie off at 8.30am and she had already had her surgery by 10.45am. The Vet was very professional and explained the operation fully. Lottie had first class care, communication was brilliant throughout with an update Call from Vlad and the nurses. All medication that was prescribed was all included in the operation fee. I was very impressed and could not ask for a better service. Thanks for taking such good care of Lottie & if her other leg goes (which I know is likely) then I know, I have every confidence that she will be in good hands.

Poor service and insurance deception

I took my dog here as recommended by my friend. I can't say I was impressed for 3 different vets each telling me the opposite to the other. I took my dog to a different vet. Several months later my dog sadly passed away and I put a claim in to my insurance company once I had an answer to the medical condition. I had paid the vets bill at the time of treatment. When the insurance company asked animals trust for info. They sent me a bill for the cost of filling out the info, deceived my insurance company and asked them for the payment for the already paid bill. When I rang asking for my money I was told I'd have to wait up to another 2 weeks for that to be processed So poor service and insurance deception not a company I would trust with my pets life.
